Sorry Blizz, you have rehashed the same damn thing too many times. It just doesn't feel "epic" anymore, just annoying and repetitive. And sorry for being the Debbie Downer, but just... GAH!

Well the whole "Give Azeroth to us mortals!" motif has been running for a while now, so this isn't really suprising - though it could have been handled with a bit more souplesse, since "OUR DUTY HAS BEEN FULFILLED" does not make a lick of sense as pointed out by Saevir.

I think it is a bit of a letdown.

I wish they'd just let Thrall and Aggra die. Seriously. Get that shit out of the way, no-one fucking cares about Aggra and Thrall overstayed his welcome well before Cataclysm even started.

Thrall seems to still be alive, I am disappointed.

I find it rather... worrying that the great aspects, who used their near-unlimited power to govern over the world have become mortal. Won't the fact that Ysera is mortal, have negative consequences on Druidism; Kalecgos barely got into his role, now it's taken away; Alexstrasza the lifebinder being killable itself, seems odd; and at the last aspect... shouldn't time just be fucked over by this point?

OH AND METZEN SAVES THE DAY, AGAIN. Really wish they'd come up with some new characters for major stories, rather than mary-sue existing characters. Thrall's hadouken in the previous cutscenes shared the exact same animation, and barely did anything different.

Deathwing's transformation into a mindless beast of destructive energies seemed awkward, considering he's possesed by the power of an Old God. Speaking of which, what happened to Mister N'zoth? Did he just head off on holliday?

Seriously Blizzard... Get new writers, or just punch Activision in the face x_x

Edit: Did anybody else get a major Power-Ranger vibe from the Dragon Aspects in that last bit?

At least Sunwell had some relevance... Though it did mark the beginning of some awful end-expansion raids.

I wanted to leave my comment for later on instead of tagging it to the initial post but it seems most of my thoughts where summed up.

One thing that still bugs me is the time-travel loop holes like with the Dragon Soul artifact being brought from then to now basically making like everything from the Well of Eternity to now messed up if you've read the books and followed that horrible plot-line.

Major wtf - If the aspects where created for -this-, this being their purpose/destiny (To destroy Deathwing), why where they created? The explanation for becoming mortal I took it as they had completed their purpose. So 2/5 Aspects (Also corrupted Nozdormu) have been slain, this was the supposed purpose of creating the Aspects all along.. why create them then!?

I could have written this stuff better myself. I hate time travel plot holes with a passion, either do it and do it well or stay the HELL away from my Tardis..

Wait, I just realized.. It's finally time for the Retlol God to shine!

This still works because of the way time travel works, they can essentially take the dragon soul away, take it forward in time, use it, then return it at the exact same moment they took it in the first place.

I could take down deathwing in a quicker way.
