The Blood Knight Order - who are they?
Blood Knight Order is a newly established Blood Knight RP guild situated in Silvermoon City (of course!), with their headquarters being the Blood Knight Sanctuary, in Farstrider's square. The Blood Knights are the police force of Silvermoon, and are Paladin Blood elf-only. They use and harness the Light to keep Silvermoon safe, stop criminality and help those in need. The Order is also aiming to restore Silvermoon to its former glory.The Order channel this power from the newly restored Sunwell, and use this Light as their main focus of power. Power, authority and pride await those who have the mettle to take up arms against Silvermoon's many criminals and enemies!
The IC ranks are as follows:

Initiate - Lowest in the Order. These are the fresh trainees!
Adept - These are those who have proven some advancement in Battle and have experienced what it is like to arrest and punish a criminal. Adepts and Initiates have no authority over other citizens and cannot arrest.
Knight - This is the standard rank within the Order. These are the guards of Silvermoon. They patrol regularly and maintain order within the walls. They have the authority to arrest and detain, and can pass a verdict upon any prisoners awaiting judgement. (Note: Guards -will- be carefully picked. The ability to arrest a citizen comes with large responsibility. Having everybody in Silvermoon thrown into the cells is something that we want to avoid... )
Master - The elite guard. Those who have been with the Order for a substantial time and have proven their loyalty to the Order, and to Silvermoon. These have authority over all lower ranks, and also have the ability to mentor Initiates and Adepts. Each initiate / Adept is paired up with a Master or above.
Champion - These are the officer ranks, and the highest possible rank that can be achieved. They have proven outstanding loyalty towards Silvermoon and her people, and contain the most battle-hardened of the Guild.
Knight-Lady - The leader of the Guild, Tiffane Blightleaf. Not the direct leader of the Order (that's an NPC), but the longest-standing Blood Knight within the Order. She has rule over all.

So, what's in it for me?
Although the guild is relatively new, it has a strong RP-base. Being based upon lore, not to mention a large HQ and prison-cell that come with the concept!, it has a solid RP structure in which flexibility is available. You see, the Blood Knights are rather divided in their views towards the Light. Some still see it as a means of raw power, and only care about using it for their own gain and strength, rather than the actual study of it. Others believe it is an incredible force that should be respected, and there are even a select few of Blood Knights who stick to the path of true Paladins of the Light. So, as you can see, there's a large range of RP that is available: What will -your- character think? How strong is their faith within the Light? Will they crack under the constant hate and insults thrown at the Blood Knight Order? Yes, you read correctly. If you are familiar with Silvermoon Roleplay, you should know by now that the Blood Knights are pretty much despised. They are thought to be very corrupt, of course, that is not true!....Or is it? For, having the power of being a Blood Knight, means having the power to be as "fair" and "just" as you want. With all that said, it's safe to say a lot of RP is available. Prison-RP, guarding, socialising with your fellow beautiful Blood Elves and plenty of fighting and action to be done. Oh and, we are heavily RP-based, but that doesn't mean PVE and PVP will be ignored. We will be doing this, and World-PvP events are being attempted to be set up with the Sin Belore too!

So, what's their story? (NOT ESSENTIAL TO READ)
The Blood Knights were originally members of the Church of Light, when they were still High Elves. Of course, they were not called such when they were. Later on, many became priests and a few became Paladins. After the creation of the Blood Elves, the race soon lost their light-given powers. So, they needed a new way to channel the Light. They did so by having the Sin'Dorei magisters sap the Light energy out of a Naaru named M'uru, who was captured from the Tempest Keep by Prince Kael'Thalas Sunstrider, and brought back to Silvermoon. Lady Liadrin, a former priestess, who had heard of the Magisters' achievement, was the first to volunteer to bend the stolen powers to her will, and thus, a new Order was born; the Blood Knights. This naaru was later seized by Kael'thalas for his own use in his mad lust for power, and taken from the Blood Knight Sanctuary in which it was held. Seeing Kael'thas' treachery for herself, Lady Liadrin travelled to Shattrath and met with A'dal , who informed her that M'uru had known his fate - to aid in the redemption of the people of Quel'Thalas, as prophesied by Velen. With this new insight, Liadrin pledged herself and the Order to the Sha'tar and the Shattered Sun Offensive, the army raised to battle Kael'thas and his nefarious master, Kil'jaeden. Lady Liadrin's new look upon the Light has also followed down to some members the Order, and those who have taken pilgrimages to the restored Sunwell may or may not feel the power of the Light, and take towards its teachings. Either way, the Blood Knights could now harness the energy once more - their power was restored.


Sounds kinda cool, I guess...So, how do I join?
As mentioned above, those who wish to join as Blood Knights must be Blood Elf Paladins, BUT, there are places in the guild for those who are not. These could be: Informants/spies, Nobles/VIP's who are under protection, merchants who wish to set up a trade in supplying arms, or any others who pledge allegiance to the Order. (Note: these are ranks for people who are guildless and want an RP guild OR those who want to join the Order, and cannot because their character is not applicable, but they still want something to do with the guild!) For those who wish to join, go to the Blood Knight Sanctuary and seek out either: Master Aithon Brightblade, Champion Aladras Deleshar or Knight-Lady and Blood Knight-Delegate Tiffane Blightleaf.


P.S: Many of you who regularly Roleplay in Silvermoon should know by now that Blood Knight RP is divided. It has been split up between many guilds for some time now, and this guild is an attempt to bring these knights together, and make a better RP-base for Silvermoon. Because hey, with a larger guard guild, don't you think there'll be more of an attraction to making more criminal guilds? This is an attempt to really make Silvermoon hustling and bustling again. And to be honest, there probably have been many attempts at this, and most have probably failed. But many of our members are already known to the RP community. We're not just randomers who are: 'hey lets be blood knigt rulers 4 fun, we rule silverm00n!!1'. We are known, and now we are together, but of course, we need more members to really set the guild off. So I ask, will you help join the cause?

To be honest: Aren't there too few Blood Elf Roleplayers for too many Blood Elf guilds? I think you can better make it something Elthinir did with the Farstriders: A channel and IC organisation instead of a full guild.

I had the same thought as well, but just because one style of organization works that doesn't mean the other type won't. If this guild can get Blood Knights a bit more organized and also ease new RP'ers into the lore and hierarchy then I'm all for giving it a chance. A Blood Knights channel is always there and available as a Plan B. ^^

Best RP for a long time was when Lex was walking being followed by a blood knight, Slight panic mode kicked in until I realised that she wasnt following me, simply returning to her base and I was walking right towards it!

I know that feeling Lex. XD I once walked into the Horde Tol Barad base on Kaina.

I'd never been to the Alliance one before, so I automatically headed the opposite way...

And when I was levelling her, I kept getting ganked by enemy guards cause I'd run into Horde settlements without thinking.
