Looking for magic users

There is already communication between certain magic users of both factions, thanks to the Jewel era. Besides, magic should be something universal, like math, where faction or religion doesn't really matter in order to have contact and discuss about it. If anything, it's a good opportunity for anyone to enrich their knowledge about it.

Will it be a faction organised in Dalaran?

EDIT: By the way, I will be on tonight, and I'm hoping to at least meet Fyrrel tonight. Location can be anywhere, since Deli is all over the place, but It would be nice if someone would come visit her in Shatt for a change <3

But we still have the langue barrier. How easy it is to translate "everything" via realID?

I think alts is the way with the least barriers. If everyone has tongues + myRP installed, and a bit of imagination... That'll work best.

RealID requires a lot of OOC organisation and adding of contacts, while lvl1 myRP alts are actually rooted in the world. Plus, you get emotes and tells in the appropriate colors and visible to anyone.

As for the IC language barrier; Deli is pretty decent at Thalassian, and most blood elves will know common to some degree. Orcish may be a problem, though.

I would like to stress that we shouldn't want to arrange TOO much OOC-- I still like to see how things evolve and develop in character. I dont know if Delidah will get along with any of your characters. I'm game with pre-determining where they meet but that's it.

On a reinforcing note, Mandui's post really pictures a short version of the essence of the organisation itself (its pretty close to what is intended I believe), and I think it will only add to its content.

As for the location, do not worry. Leave it for IC - Skarain and I have been adjusting the location and it seems its within acceptable and actually congruent terms.

Well, OOC communication could be just copy and pasting as if people were whispering to eachother - meaning IC, talking. So imagine someone is directing themselves to the whole group. Just copy and paste the text in a real ID chat and it should be fine I believe. Unless there are objections to this ofc. I believe, however, that this way, the "ooc" part will turn into "IC", and even give room for translators if people fancy rping a bit of it The only thing that this wont allow is much cross talk between 1 ally 2 hordes (or the oposite) or something of the sort (which in itself might add some ic reality to the barrier itself, making it sometimes a good thing).

However the space itself will allow for intra horde interaction inside the objectives of the organisation, intra alliance interaction, and some degree of cross interaction between both sides - I believe, and it is in everyone's interest I think, that this enriches the rp experience that we can take from it

As I have spoken to Skarain, I personally would think it would be more meaningful to have the actual horde character on the spot, rather than an alt pretending to be a horde character. Id rather have this option as an emergency resort.

And yes, I will be online tonight to meet some people so worry not!

As for horde meetings those have to happen (and planned to some degree) through either forum or realID or some other ooc way of communication (alts would do too). Upon agreeing on how things will process for each horde character, we would proceed to the actual rp meeting itself. More suggestions are always welcome.

The thing is that some Arcanists, especially Night Elves and Draenei, might not exactly agree with your ideals and could even deem them as dangerous. So trying to "force" them into joining your initaitve might lead to some undesired results

I still don't have any idea what's going on or what everyones motives are... But it sure is nice to have a whole bunch of magicians to roleplay with <3

As mentioned in-game, Dru sadly most likely won't stick with it, but still interested in getting contacted and meeting some folks.

Thank you for those that answered saying that I didnt contact them. I will enter a period of rp silence in the next couple of days (quite busy) and will only have those raiding hours.

After this I shall contact whoever is left.

Just to inform we already got 6 or 7 people. (counting me in ofc)

Anyway I will attempt to contact who I can eventually. Try to free up some time close to the weekend in 2 weeks (so its the weekend after this one) so we can initiate (calendar invites will be sent)

For the Hordes that are interested, I created a Horde character called Runno, ill log on him every now and then. Since I dunno the characters you play with I cant see you (added only the forum name on the list).

Lol I've only just noticed this. Evesia has actually became involved heh.
