The Thalmer are elven supremacists. They refuse to worship a human. They had a heavy hand in the White-Gold agreement. Very Happy

It's a bit biased in-game really. You are made to sympathise with the Stormcloaks but if you scratch beneath the surface I'd side with the Imperials any time.

Stayed neutral for ages but eventually went with the Empire.

Imperials: Tactically the best choice, they have every intention of striking out against the Aldmeri Dominion. Stormcloaks are just another piece of the Empire the Aldmeri would like causing havoc behind the lines. Thus they must be silenced!

Beside, they are racists and bigots, and Ulfric is a bit of a dick.

So I happily went about killing them off!

Though I had a strange encounter, anyone been attacked by a gang of Aldmeri after the mission in the embassy?? It happened near an Imperial camp, the Imperials jumped them screaming curses against the Elves and cut them down uber quick. After that I decided I would be Loyal to the Empire forever!!
