7th Anniversary!

Oi! Fellow RPers, soon the 7th anniversary is here. And I just happend to flick my eyes on a youtube clip from the past year. And why not publish another event to be hold? Was thinking like, from the alliance side to set a full strenght attack into the southern barrens, as the horde manage to gather up their strenght to push out the pink ugly dogs. Would be nice to see alot pre RP for this, and a BIG meeting of all leaders, to discuss war matters. As in the fights 100% RP gear, as there films and screenies should be made of it. This is just an idéa, but if you would like to add comments and improvments, welcome! And if you're up for it? Sign now! Both guild and a name of a toon I could contact!

Anniversary wars have always been serverwide things for both OOCers, and RPers its about Huge scale server crashing PVP.

Which has often ended in a massive gankfest, more of then world PvP. But, I see your point.
We could always make it like this; Still have a anniversary war for RPers aswell as OOCers, then plan something else for the RPers aswell, as Borian stated, in RP gear only. I'd say it'd make a great film, since there are alot of Defias Brotherhood RP films on YouTube already. Ah, the Battle of Alterac.. that was fun.

And I have loved every single one of those Gank fest and the Drama fest afterwards

well it should have been in september i believe, but after last years "Drama" he quit.

Was there drama, I totaly forgot that!

If there isn't drama it isn't an anniversary war. the scope of the PVP is what makes it so fun, but that scope can't be had without a flame-thread or two afterwards

I usually stay the fuck away from those flame-threads, unless they are concerning me in some way.

Lots of things. The other team having more healers for example. Or.. Frost mages.
Would be pretty much the same as in BG's. ;p

You don't need an event to rage about them.

Drama and Rage is part of what makes PVP events so fun. though it sucks the life out of organisers.

You don't kill the complete population of the animal you hunt. You pick off one or two that look the shiniest and let the rest make more little targets.

I'd like to suggest vashj'ir as one of the sites of battle this year. A completely underwater battle sounds like it could be a nice change of pace.

I didn't know this, yet to experienced it. But as this was ment for the RP mostly, I would find it funnier if it was kept an IC thing.

As a OOC war this would be awesome indeed, but as I mentioned now above I would like to keep it IC, but well, its always the majority in those questions who get their will through.

It wouldnt be a good idea, alot of low leveled people tend to join in aswell.

Sure up for it, would be nice to have some pure pvp stuff for a change.

I never stated that it wouldn't be any different from other IC campaigns, just that it would be nice to keep it in RP gear for the view and fun. But I can't change how the crowd would like to have it.
