Another new concept within EotDR - The Staff of Forgotten Memories

Weeks and weeks had passed, the Eyes of the Dark Realm gathered powerful material, ranging from energies of artifacts to fragments of souls, to infuse with the Staff of Forgotten Memories. A staff they created with wood they had collected from Teldrassil itself, during a small expedition to Darnassus. The final step was to empower this staff through a grand and chaotic ritual. Stumbling upon the information they needed, they figured out it had to be on a certain place between Light and Darkness. Between the Cathedral of Light, and Stormwind graveyard.

A pact was made with the Ravenholdt Sanctuary. Before the ritual even had started, these assassins and fighters had already started turmoil within the streets of Stormwind, crippling guards and others, distracting them or worse...

In the meanwhile, the cultists were just done with the briefing within their hidden crypts before summoned to the lake by their Dark lord. Through the aid of waterwalking potions, these tense yet dedicated men and women stepped onto the water, stood in the instructed formation...

The sky above revealed odd behaviour, turning dark and cloudy, something clearly amiss. Magical pressures were high, the ritual had begun. The Dark Lord of the cult started the proces to empower the staff... "For the Soulblighter and The Defiler" was yelled, as screams of terrified citizens were cried about.



Wether the King's or Cathedral's forces were occupied elsewhere, or the Ravenholdt Sanctuary simply did an amazing job, there were only a few that tried to interfere, and failed. Once the ritual was completed, the cultists did the only thing they could do: flee out of the city, hiding theirselves within the grim woods of dusk.


A new concept within The Eyes of the Dark Realm - The Staff of Forgotten Memories

After a long-term plot, it's finally completed. The Staff of Forgotten Memories is a powerful artifact that will symbolize the cult itself with all its might. First of all, the staff holds many secrets waiting to be unveiled, hopefully sparking roleplay and who knows adding more features to this staff. In addition, this Staff would allow for the cult to have a mind communication with eachother, much alike the artifact some known as The Dark Sphere. As always, nothing on Azeroth is flawless, perfect. This staff works corruptive on the bearers mind, rather quickly, if not insanely quick. One who'd keep it within his palm would turn mad in no time, or worse, dead. It is therefore that the council of the dark realm got formed (leaders) to rotate the staff with once in a while.

((We had invited a grand total of five guilds to combat the RHS and to catch us cultists. Sadly, although they all wanted to come, nearly no one showed up for some reason. Well, I did hear the RHS kicked some butt big time, hehe, and Swindle made screenies for those who missed the ritual. Ah well, it's been fun either way and we're happy with another concept to shape our guild up which will hopefully promote RP even more!))

Fab event, loved it!

I saw the fight and was thinking "WTF???" and went back into the cathedral to examine more of this "light" I then heard the shout and went back out and witnessed a bit of the summoning which looked pretty cool!

More things happened that night because of this event and Jingleberry ended up getting stabbed. Almost dieing!

Grr.. I guess the Stormwind Regiment didn't manage to get it back for us

Cheers all. And to Ishap and other leaders of other guilds, it's naturally not a problem ^^ stuff happens both in game but as well in real life which prevents people from doing certain stuff, recently I'm experiencing it too often. I'm really hoping for more IC tension between our cult+allies and the "good" guilds however.

What might be a good thing for you all to know: although we will try to contact other guilds for plots/events, certainly do NOT hesitate to contact us with your ideas as well!

“It was a gift, from Zylo. All i know is it has a lot to do with the founding of the strand, and was forged with Truesilver by dwarves...” Seiken shrugged, his eye looking over the array of dwarven runes inscribed up and down the blade.

Oh a crummy, non soul drinking silly magey rune blade. ()

It's also the sword that shattered the dark sphere a while back
