3D pose

After taking models from wow into maya and posing them, re-texture/shaders and lighting and slight model tweaks. I thought of a idea after rping with Lexgrad on my rogue where he slammed my char into a wall when i tryed to take his blade. I'm gonna make these poses in 3D and make them look all sexy or even just well known rpers chars into little 3D turn tables. I was wondering if any one had any interest in this. If so post here with your idea or a screen shot of your char and what you want the scene to show.

Progress Details

1: Faralan - Been tidying up the model abit and making slight changes to his build giving him a little more height and abit more bulk, also been getting the shaders all nice to give a little bit of shine to his armor, next texture's. Then setting the pose. Will try and post screenshots soon.

Great idea, Flumi. I'm looking forward to see the results of your work. If I decide to take up the game again, you can be sure that I'll contact you at some point. Perhaps tossing the animation through AE aswell is an idea?

Was waiting on a script wasn't doing that as well . But yeah cool take a screeny of you char for me and post it here. Also if there is custom colour to your gear, eyes hair scars etc please note and what do you want for the pose or a scene. Want a nice project to work on so soon as you give those details i will get to work. Also if you need his build or height changed please state that as well.

Aye morty ty if u want anything be sure to ask. I can rig the chars at the moment and animate them in maya, I also take most of my work in after effect for post work as well. If there is other Digital artists out there with experiance on AE or maya, might be a cool idea to do a project in the future perhaps a animation about our server.

Ahh. I'm most curious about your results in this. 3D modelling ( and video editing) is perhaps one of those few things I always wanted to do, but never managed. I still get fascinated by that kind of work.

Any one with interest can be a great help as well, could make it a nice comunity project, perhaps voice actors as well, script writers. Been dieing to do somthing larger scale for a long time. Also if you need any info on getting started in 3d Jean let me know, I can point u in the right direction of give u a few lessons over skype or livestream.

Unfortunately, that might be too ambitious a project for what spare time I have left these days. But the offer is much appreciated. Ahh well.. All in due time!
But I do like your ambition in this project. If there is something I might be of help with, I would gladly offer it.

Just been wanting to do a nice project for a while based on wow, and would others joining it would make it more enjoyable and also able to spot problems and tell each other which why I think group projects always come out better (not all the time but Animation wise they do in my experiance)

So any help not matter how huge or small would be great, plus it's for people to have fun with it.

Im going for a small two week course thing in some animation stuff soon! id love to learn some stuff from you flumi thingy! If.. Youd like.. want to! D:

I dunno really, its just some media stuff, but the lads there are like.. Making models out of triangles and stuff Ill see when i get there!

I'm going to uni next year to do that kinda stuff. Right now I'm just am expert on Source level design.
