Hyldsmeet 2011!

"Whether you've noticed or not, you've entered the Hyldsmeet -- the great competition of Hyldnir against Hyldnir to determine who will rule by Thorim's side."

The Hyldsmeet is a traditional tournament in the Hyldnir culture, the ultimate test of strength, endurance and guts in all of Northrend, possibly Azeroth itself. Against the backdrop of the harsh northern peaks of the continent, these strong vrykul warrior women fight against those from every Hyldnir clan in the region for the prestigious title of Hyldskinnvar, and the right to sit at Thorim's side in the Temple of Storms.

In this event, I invite all to come join me in the frozen mountains of Storm Peaks, and enter into this tournament as a unique opportunity to socialise, RP, and fight in such a beautiful setting. Due to the race-restrictions on this, you will be RP'ing as Hyldnir (after doing the quest chain starting here, and participating in a number of challenges against your kin. This year however, they have also issued an opening to all other vrykul clans, but still keeping to the all female tradition.

Required: That you have completed the above chain, which will give a feel for things, and give you the disguise needed. It is also preferred you have TotalRP2 or similar, as the challenges may be done as custom quests. What challenges these are has yet to be seen, but there shall be more than the three set out in the quests. Plus, custom items will be given as rewards, GHI may suffice for this too.
Fitting armour - some challenges may take place outside the disguise area, so make an effort to try and look vaguely vrykul! Added to that in a bit, be creative and make a vrykul character for yourself!
And due to the support given, this shall be an alliance event. Both factions would be hard to keep under control and communicate with, although if anyone wishes to aid I will happily take suggestions.

Date, time and challenge details are yet to be set, as this is being written now to see how much interest there is. I look forward to seeing how this goes down with you all ^^

Is this Alliance or Horde?

I noted in the third paragraph, alliance until someone can come up with a good way of cross-factioning.

Sorry, it's late. I'll come. Have never heard of Vrykrul roleplay before, would love to try it for the sake of saying I have.

This looks fun, hope it works to attend even if my character would have no chance of looking like a female vrykul outside the disguise (male gnome >.>)

I checked the other day, and the whole valley next to the village keeps the disguise on.

I have no characters with required levels on alliance.

Then level, or no Vikings for you!
