Re: Mists of Pandaria
The press interviews have more or less stated Thrall will be coming back to power. Sadly.

Re: Mists of Pandaria
While the whole 'Garrosh becoming a raid boss' thing is entirely ridiculous in my opinion, they better have a damn good reason. He has to do something hugely despicable and morally wrong. Personally I'd like it if he killed Thrall. As many people have stated he's a blatant Mary Sue, though sadly I doubt that will -ever- happen, as Chris Metzen can't have anything happen to his little pet character, now can he?
I'm also entirely unsure how Orgrimmar will still operate as a hub for the Horde OOC-wise, while being a raid at the same time.

Probably the same way that the Wrathgate event happened and UC turned into a psuedo raid.

Obviously it'll be instanced in some way, be it event or a raid.

Re: Mists of Pandaria
Fucking Thrall is the single shittiest character in wow, we should get Saurfang leading the Horde imo, he's the perfect balance between honourable and willing to fight but not bloodthirsty.
Garrosh's fall could be painted as interesting, I think. He's a guy who feels he has a lot to live up to - his father's legacy. I think they could play it out like that, with him becoming increasingly desperate to show how he's just as great as his father was and gradually descending into more and more brutal war methods to make the Horde win at any cost.

I may be the only one, but I would actually love to see Blood Elf Druids in the next expansion as well... I mean, it is still a form of (omnomnom) magic, and they could make some awesome quests and story-stuff about 'healing' the dead scar!

Man, to say that this thread exploded would be an understatement.
(which is on its own an understatement)
Anyhow, I think it's no secret that I am mostly interested in the Monk class. The way things look right now, though, I could very well end up rerolling an entirely new character, rather than to roll a Monk Thelos, just so I can properly embrace all the assets of the class, including the brewmastery and epicurean edges.
Which brings me to another point - I sincerely hope that the current venomous undertones will fade in time. Many people in this thread seems to treat pandaren with some degree of hostility, but I am actually very interested in their potential contribution to roleplay. First of all it is fascinating to have a playable race that is, in essence, neutral. Yes, as a character you're forced to choose between Alliance and Horde, but I dont think there'll be anything preventing us from roleplaying a neutral Pandaren. At the very least, I dont think Pandaren would treat other Pandaren on the other faction with any hostility. Who knows, we might be able to erect a playercore to represent neutral pandaria.
Then there's the cultural edge: A properly Asian culture in WoW, and not just superficially - a few architectural and fashion choices - but philosophically as well! I cant wait to dig into Pandaren spirituality to see what's underneath the fur and heats the breweries. They seem to completely ward off negative emotions (Hindrances in 'vada lingo) and manifest them physically, which implies a mental discipline and control almost vulcan-like in nature. Yet, as we know, Pandaren are quite the epicureans and are the heaviest drinkers on Azeroth! I am looking forward to seeing how these two seemingly conflicting elements will be united. It will most likely resolve in very cooky eccentric kung fu sages with potbellis who talk about spirituality exclusively in gastronomical euphemisms.
The good life is like a well-prepared dish...
Yes! I mean, no!
The pull to explore Pandaren roleplay is too strong! I can feel myself slipping

I cannot wait to play Pandaren Monks and start to RP as one. I love Pandaria, I love what they have done with them.
It's the other races their ideas I can't really seem to agree with.

The two new (not the three you mentioned earlier, ffs Blizz) BGs look quite fun.. but yeah this will decide if I stick with WoW or go to GW2, mostly yes.

Blizzard has talked about turning Jaina's hair all white because of the shock, and her becoming this very violent and dangerous mage.
Sounds like a bad roleplayers character description X)

All those "bad" roleplayers were actually GOOD roleplayers because their stories are closer to canon stories!
Also, what is that purple cultist whore doing with all those Anthinininans in the signature above me?

Re: Mists of Pandaria
S0 far this expansion looks pretty much the same as the three previous ones.
I don't really mind I just want to roll around on dwarven monk slapping people and drinking beer.
Wait.. that's what I allready do.
