Never seen lightning pull a capital ship out or orbit, or keep it from crashing down :3

The pebbles are projected at a very high velocity, so it's sort of the equivalent of firing a barrage of muskets at someone. No armour-piercing rounds, but goddamn, that shit will still beat you to death in seconds.

I must be the slowest leveller ever. I keep stop and chilling out in general chat on Dromund Kass. It's my new Barrens chat <3 Played for a few days now and I just got 15 a while ago. XD

I'm quite sure that WoW was far more buggy month 1 that SWTOR is, tbh.
Since otherwise even more people would have quit.

True WoW (and plenty of other MMORPGS) were hella buggy but that was 7 years ago.

I think it is a big problem that new MMORPGS face now because they have to compete with finished products, people are far less likely to be willing to wait months for bug fixes and new content anymore (atleast than before when they had no real choise)

Main problem for me with SWTOR, is the people. People are instantly expecting WoW in the cata phase, where everything is simple, steamroll, no-brainer and a all-around "Here, have your full epic pvp gear by no fucking effort at all, have fun clicking two buttons to kill the enemy players".

These are the sort of things I've heard;
"The queues are too long!"
I've been playing on one of the most popular RP-PvP server, my maximum queue has been ten minutes.
"The companions are nothing like the WoW pets!"
No shit? I'd like to see a Stranglethorn Panther in WoW heal, CC and run off doing your Crew Skills for you.
"It's buggy as shit!"
The game has literally been out for a little more than a month, what the fuck do you expect, you impatient cunt? No buggs at all and a perfectly coded game?

People who are playing SWTOR are expecting WoW mechanics. They keep forgetting that it's not Blizzard, it's not WoW, it's a diffrent game producer and it has a completely diffrent game feel. I've been playing for a little over a week, and Im enjoying it -alot-. I like the Mass Effect sort of quest giving. I like that you actually have to stay and listen and think through what you say. I like that your actions now have affects on you in the future quest-line. I like that you get your own sort of story-line when questing. I like that your individual descisions makes you liked/unliked with your companions. I like that you need to actually think when getting a quest, not just "Right click, accept, smash people, get reward" like in WoW. After all, isn't that what an MMORPG is supposed to be? Having the feel of your own story-line? People who are complaining about it probably never got out of the starting zone because they were too impatient. It's a young game, give it time or don't bother if you're a lazy fuck not wanting to wait a few months.

PS. Space missions are amazing, I really like that part.
PPS. The PvP is really fun, I enjoy how the lower levels gets a buff so they can fight equally to the level 50's (Almost equally, the level 50's have their PvP gear after all.)

I hate the LAG. Retarded FPS lag. >.> I don't have problems with more demanding games.

Not yet, as far as I know. I think BioWare announced that they will in the future, not sure when. The missus said something about it, though Im not sure if her source was legit.
