[IC] The Alliance Messenger service.

IMPORTANT: Looking for more alts to rp as messenger!

OOC:
This is -not- supposed to turn into a guild, those interested in roleplaying these kind of characters or perhaps already have one in a similar context do not have to leave their guilds, be it rp, pvp or pve-ones. I will set up a passwordrestricted channel for everyone who will be included into this. Meaning: the messengers (their alts?) and the officers of the Blades for Hire. This channel will be used for OOC contact to keep things well organized and be able to stay in touch. Over this channel the Blades can inform OOC wether or not one of us is available in Stormwind for rp to call upon us to come and pick up a job someone might have for the messengers.
By using the Blades as an actual guild to be contacted IC (or OOC) people will know easily to whom they can turn seeing as they are easily found and recognised thanks to tabards and their location mostly being very known aswell. It grants an oppurtunity to go further in roleplay in which we start using the actual roleplayer instead of pretending that a letter has been delivered etc etc. To realise this idea I am of course looking for people to raise their hand if they are willing to contribute. Make an alt or perhaps introduce an already existing character to the job.
That is why I am already making the topic here on the forums, if people show interest I will begin updating a list of names to see who the current available messengers are.
This is for myself to keep track aswell as for the Blades and everyone else involved.

In these times of war, orders need to remain in touch and tactics of battle have to be shared amongst the many races of the Alliance.
Our families, loved ones and friends are being scattered all over the world. Yet we need to keep contact, news has to be passed on as well as letters and packages.
Ask yourself these questions and perhaps there is something that can aid in your needs.
* Are you unable to find a reliable and successful tracker for the job you need done?
* Are you unwilling to trust the magical means of transport to get in touch?
* Are you one who prefers the basic ways of delivering a package?
* Are you in need of a permanent resource to hire a messenger?
Do not hesitate to find out more information. Seek out the “Blades for Hire” and they will be in touch with one of the messengers they have established contacts with.

What does it take to be a professional messenger?
* You handle your job discreetly, work fast and without being distracted.
* Your feet carry you fast and far. you know how to orientate yourself and have knowledge about every land of Azeroth and perhaps Outland.
* You have the means to fight if necessary in the wilds or in hostile territory and are able to survive on your own.
* You do not bring yourself in unnecesary danger that might compromise the success of your assigned job.
* You are able to remain unseen if it occurs that you have to extract information while on the job. Or have other means to retreive it without consequenses.
Does this apply to you then don't hesitate!
Seek out the “Blades for Hire” and they will redirect you to one of the experts currently available.

Last things are about to be arranged IC, this should be rolling by tomorrow. Those interested to bring an alt can contact me on either char below in my signature or poke one of the blades to be invited to the channel we will have active tomorrow aswell.

The prices will be disussed IC I'd say, seeing as part of the pay will have to go to the Blades as they contribute to provide the jobs to the available messengers. Will see what I can whip up together with them

Messenger service up and running IC'ly, the posters are being spread and looking for more willing roleplayers or toons to provide us with a great deal of runners to take the jobs!
