[A] Cultural charity-feast in benefit of Westfall/Moonbrook [WIP] 02/09/2012

Location: Moonbrook
Time: 21.00 Server for guests 20.00 server for the envoys of guilds/races!

Since this is the "raw" idea of the event there will be little information as of yet. I have to gather it and plan how to coordinate these things.


Hosted by the nobles of Stormwind, the host Merissa Drackenrise who is planning her very first charity-event.
This was IC agreed upon during a meeting where we decided that for once it will not be an elegant gala or ball but a more fitting theme for the people of Westfall.

What do I need?
* People willing to play Westfall citizens who will be employed during the event.
* Members of ALL ALLIANCE guilds who are willing to set up something entertaining/Educational that will interest the other attendees:

Night Elves: Nature's Grasp about Elune, Malorne and the Ancients
Dwarves: The Three Hammers about the Titans
Draenei: Naaruvaada about the Naaru
Humans: Arathorians about the Ancestors, Chapterians about Anethion and Disciples about the Holy Light
Gnomes: *insertguildIforgot* about anything someone will suggest that involves their culture[

Anything else someone can think of that may be interesting depending on the character available is also welcome!/b]

I will need one or two members of each of these guilds who are willing to provide a constant "workshop" to the attendees of the feast. Informative and "brief" so everyone can learn of several cultures;



The theme behind this event?
An outdoor feast with food and beverages typical to all cultures of Azeroth, gathering Night Elves, Dwarves, Religious folk, Gnomes, Draenei etc etc. Meaning ...well...people show their culture! Others learn and we try to bond amongst eachother.
Since this is a charity for Westfall, I know it's an odd idea but ICly sprouted out of the head of a goodhearted innocent young girl recently in the noble ranks

More ideas, suggestions etc welcome!

And of course I shall update over time! Just wanted to have this show on the road to begin planning!

Here is also one goodhearted innocent young maiden who has resently joined the nobles. Would be nice to meet your char, btw.

I am open to arrange some thing religious from either my guild or char(Emiraude, human priest) side or from noble side.

It can do food or something educational... basic healing loreworkshop, holy light-something or something about how charity works behind the scenes(volunteers, state, nobles who give money)

And i have you can expect the Chapter as well.... Eh if i am around i'll be there on Morgaan...Yes perhaps i will do so, or maybe not even... We shall see xD

@Feeniks, would be grand to have your noble there! And I like your idea of the healing-workshop a lot!

For everything religious related I have already contacted DoL IC, will go to the Chapter too so I think it's best you stick your heads together with those two and I am sure a nice interesting thing can grow from it with you all (Ihope!? )

Great, I will see to it. Something basic for all (commoners) to do and learn.

I will also give nudge to my guild, if they would like to help DoL in their effort. It would be nice to see Light guilds to do something together in an open RP event.

Just a small heads-up: Freelancers is arranging an event in Westfall 20-24th or so. I'll try to make sure we leave both Westfall generally and Moonbrook specifically in a state where they need charity-balls:twisted: Mwahahah! Might leave a report of our doings out there somewhere on these forums when we're done, though.

Currently House Drackenrise is trying to get Moonbrook to rebuild etc. If you mess up things indeed inform us because you're about to play with noble properties

We may have had a minor battle with leftover Defias at Moonbrook. Collateral damage was low, with one small building catching fire, little else to report.

As far as my work scheudal shows on both jobs. I should be free 2nd of september. So count me in as 1 from the Chapter.

I didn't see my healing workshop added to the first post, but then again, I am not from those guilds mentioned.

What comes to my Emiraude's guild, The Holy Lightbringers, I think we could arrange a "soup kitchen". Every fair needs open air kitchen to be a fair. Don't smach it on the table yet, though. I will ask them if it's all right, but I think they will bait it.

I forgot the Holy Lightbringers because...I've not seen them. My bad People to make food is deffinatly welcome, Disciples and HL can work together on the workshop too and have two speakers about it

I'm sure that can be settled IC and I'll think of something Maybe healingworkshop and Faithworkshop, gives two atleast and both guilds something in involvement

Yes HLb is smaller guild, so maybe people don't bump into us too often, but we have our 7th aniversery coming up soon

Uhm, I mean my EMirraude would do healingworkshop from the sides of the nobles, but if I do it with her guild, it might be better. And what comes to speaking, we could speak about Light from different angles. Like they speak of Light in general and we speak about it's healing powers ect.

Sure. It would be fun to see healing workshop and faithworkshop side by side.
