[A-H] The Grand Dalaran Fashion Show (April 14)

On Thursday the fourteenth day of April, the legendary den of luxury, the Jewel of Dalaran, presents to you...







~ The Grand Dalarani Fashion Show ~

In addition to the usual array of fine alcohols and delicacies from every corner of the world, this evening at the Jewel will include a parade of elegant women displaying the finest gowns from the leading tailors of Dalaran and beyond.

The event is sponsored by the Lady Vale and the staff of the Jewel of Dalaran, as well as by Kazka, Nooze & Bazoo, Dalarani Tailoring Specialists Ltd.

The Jewel is indeed hosting a fashion show on the 14th (the idea of the ever-excellent Jeanpierre) in addition to its usual Thursday night service! We hope that you will all come and enjoy the view, the company, and the RP.

However, as there are only a few of us among the permanent staff at the Jewel, we could use your help! We are in need of more elegant female characters to play a role in showing off our collection of gowns. So if you happen to have a female alt (of any race! except perhaps, um, Forsaken) and wouldn't mind dedicating some time, be it half an hour or the whole evening, that would be amazing.

If you have a low level alt, or want to roll one for the event, we can get you to Dalaran and I have a few non-BoE dress options that I could lend. Of course if your character has interesting robes of their own, that helps too. Requirements would be showing off (and who doesn't like that?) and a bit of drink serving and conversation. Also, there will be a small (optional) event on Wednesday the 13th for those models participating. We could especially us more ladies of the Horde. Please post here or get in contact with Garthen, Christelle, or Valerias if you're interested (and tell your friends)!

Hrm... My pirate wouldn't be interested in any fashion shows. And my DK is a nasty piece of work, but she DOES wear dresses when she sees fit. I think she might enjoy flaunting her fine fashion sense to the living! Thursdays are bad for me usually, so I'll see if I have the evening off!

Thank you all, great to see some enthusiasm, and here's to more RP in Dalaran indeed! Poke me if you'd like a calendar event, I'm setting one up on both Alliance- and Horde-sides.

Would have loved to come but it's on my girlfriends birthday (exept for the fact that I usually do PvE on thursdays). Good luck with the event tough.

So Dalaran can be converted from a proper noun into a proper adjective to describe the common noun?

But no I figured that Dalarani would be a sensible adjective form, like Tanarisi. Admittedly I haven't seen it in game (not that I've looked) but just 'Dalaran' sounds dull.

I may have the evening free on that Thursday after all. I'll see what my guild has planned!
