[IC] Thief's Race (Alliance)

Mercenary-contacts murmur over the large tankards of beer about the new, mysterious assignments while shady bartenders beckon thieves and bandits to dark corners, and whisper about the task and the reward. Regardless how, or where, any taker is given this contract:

The Chapter of Holy Anethion is in posession of a mysterious book in which they write down the names of their enemies. I want it. Find out where this book is located, and steal it. There will be a bonus if you can frame SI:7 with the theft of this book. I don't care if this information is too scant, I am looking for men who are competent and inventive, and who do not need to be taken by hand!

Do not forget, that this is a race, others like you have been informed of the assignment; and second is the first loser. I do not care if you have to murder every second mercenary in the city in order to win. The winner will receive the price of 10 golden coins * and a plenty of new, lucrative contracts.

Once you have the book, you must draw this circle of runes, write a way for me to contact you on a note, and place the book and the note inside the circle during midnight.


*Everybody has their own idea of what money are worth. So lets just say that 10 gold is about annual income of a good middle-class citizen.

OOC: Sophyra is looking for a parter in crime. This 'Race' is her way of making sure she gets the best and the most competent. Framing part has been agreed with SI:7, theft of the book has been agreed with the Chapter. The details are for you to sort ICly and OOCly. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me by PM or in-game. Details of the assignment have been made scant on purpose. Both Solo-mercenaries and guilds can compete. The result is all that matters!

Since it was a bit unclear: this Thief's Race is meant mostly for the Alliance, and is NOT related to me looking for Horde mercenaries.

I will make a separate Thief's Race for Horde after I handled some alliance-side RP (so in a few days)

Trying to organise this with Jeho, the problem is we don't really know where the book is, Astraea is slacking and hasn't managed to seduce her way by the knowledge yet.

Hopefully within the next 7 days if i can organise it with Jeho though.
