Re: [A] High society - An engagement party
I must unfortunately inform that I won't be in attendance on any of my characters due to my game time having expired 13th March and I don't plan on renewing it as it is now.
I do hope you will all have a grand time however. Break a leg. And don't forget the cake.

Noted, but I will still be attending.

Yes, you lowly servant!Tylaen/Aerian wrote:I will still be attending.
They are but in the end "knights" are generally not considered "real" nobles by the "real" nobles (or at least not by Braiden)Bennedict wrote:A holy order like <The Disciples of Light> are highly respected in society
A knight attending would depend if the Baron or Lady knew the knight on a more personal level (which I don't think either does sadly in this case). Thing is it always has to make sense IC, that's my opinion at least.
Speaking of attendance, we could still use a few more servants of various kinds; waiters, waitresses, bartenders, chefs etc.

Re: [A] High society - An engagement party
A question occurred to me about the masquerade. As there's a shortage of masks in WoW that don't make one look like a scruffy bandit, I'm wondering if you had any suggestions / preferences on how to make this masquerade-like? Or is it enough if the guests arrive in their finest clothes? Cheers

Closest thing to a proper masquerade mask I can think of is this
Sadly I only have it on my main on another server.
....or this, at a pinch.

Re: [A] High society - An engagement party
Did you guys not notice the big masquerade pic in the first post?
Well we'll go with a more modern version of a masquerade meaning it's perfectly fine to just dress up as a certain character or being (provided it is kept in style somewhat). I myself for example will be using a ceremonial robe and faclion from one of the various tribes of Tanaris that was given to the Baron by his steward as an engagement gift.

Thank you to all that attended, was some nice socializing even tough I barely could keep up at times
Hope all you guards at least did not get too bored, I know it was rather dull for you.

Argh sadly, I didn't think to take any screenshots either. But it was a lovely event - I enjoyed seeing such a group of people together who aren't always, and meeting several new ones. I'd be happy to see more noble events around!

Yeah, was very fun, in it's own way. But ever so horribly awkward for not-so-noble warrior to be at such a party. xD Silly Anaei inviting him. :p
