addon recommendation

Total RP 2 is an addon with build in Gryphonheart Items, Tongues, FlagRSP, and much more.

It allows you to have a character statistics sheet, where you for instance messure character traits such as pious vs. rational, impulsive vs. cautious etc.
You've got a sheet like in flagRSP, with an aditional place for background story, tittle (both short and full tittle) and a name changer which changes your name into chat - in this way you will see both name AND surname in the chat window - You can even change your character's name so that an entirely different name will appear in the chatbox!
You can even create stashes of items in specific locations (IE stormwind channels, darkshire, trade district, etc.) and give people access specifically or by trust level, yes, you can adjust your character's trust level with other characters.
You can also make NPCs emote or speak, which means you can have your hunter pet bark/attack/whatever without doing the /e 's pet... You can have the bartender actually handing you a bottle of wine or even beg for his life, depending on the plot!

Sorry to double post, just tried this out. VERY impressed! Very, very good!

It lets you not only create items but 'emotions' and it lets you make your own 'quests'! It really is worthwhile. I mean.. Wow!

had a quick play around and loved it, I was wondering though, items we make would they be able to be traded to people with just GHI and visa versa,

Some of our members have tested it and they say it's good. I think i'll give it a shot aswell.

And here I sit and think 95% of the addon is unneeded junk on your Addon memmory . . .

Just been messing around with it, its definitely better then FlagRSP, and can still work with it. Only problem is the items it makes will now work with GHI, plus most of the good GHI stuff (Feydors predominately, also some Anethionean stuff) won't work in Total Rp 2, so you'd need both active. But, the quest options are fantastic, plus having a proper bag with weights and RP coin is a brillaint function for keeping track.. no longer will we all seem to have endless coinage!

ay but how does one generate coinage??

Ah, you can add coins in values of 10c, 10s, or 10g by adding Coin bags into your inventory, or else by completing quests (playermade, and the first test one you get given)

Hm, I guess I should turn all my GHI books into these then. Bleh. I'll have to inspect the book options in detail.

I think the general consensus is to use both Total RP 2 for it's many functions but retain GHI for it's.

Nice one, going to look into it. Is it compatible information wise with what it can with the other Rp addons? Flagrsp ect?

Unfortunately not, Jayse. But you can run them both simultaneously to see Flags aswell.

Does the addon use a channel slot?

Too my knowledge it does not.

It still carries far too many unnessecary things in my opinion.

EDIT: But the fact that it can make NPCs appear to talk makes it all good again.

I don't know why it doesn't work.
