[Random] Alright Geldar (& co), you asked for it.
Yo,
So, during the campaign in Ashenvale, Geldar had the nerve to tell me that Metal music can fit any situation, any occasion.. basically everything.
Convinced I could call him bluff, I asked him what would fit the nutcracker ballet. "Dio - Stargazer" was the answer.
Let's see the results. Be warned, it's quite pink.
Alright, one point for the Metalheads. But I only need 1 (1!) example where metal is unfit to prove you wrong. So here's another challenge. What song would fit a David Copperfield flying magic act?
The bet is on.

Metal as a soundtrack would be very unfitting in a pvp movie made by Buddhist.

Look at it sensibly, there are so many different styles of Metal that I'm sure any of us who have a good knowledge of the genre could fit a song to anything.
So trying to prove otherwise is going to fail, badly.

Pretty certain that goes for most (if not all) music genres, no? xDDahian wrote:Look at it sensibly, there are so many different styles of Metal that I'm sure any of us who have a good knowledge of the genre could fit a song to anything.

LoL Where exactly did you expect 'sense' to become a role in this?Dahian wrote:Look at it sensibly.
Oh ye of little faith...
Here is the movie of David Copperfield on metal music.
I feel it turned out pretty well... In fact, it's only half as funny. Another point for the metal heads! But I only need 1(1!) example! I'm certain I'm getting closer to finding the one true scene where metal is inappropriate. Your next challenge: The French Can Can dance!
Re: [Random] Alright Geldar (& co), you asked for it.
JP m'love, says it's a private video to me. Sadness.

French Can Can: Iron Maiden - The Trooper, Metallica - Master of Puppets
Either works, pick one of the two which you fancy more. I personally liked Master of Puppets more.

As a principle, yes. Practically, no. Some genres are way too one-dimensional to fit "anything". That said, GLHF adopting Angela Dimitriou into a ballet or a medieval war scene or a space themed battle. >.>Mandui wrote:Pretty certain that goes for most (if not all) music genres, no? xDDahian wrote:Look at it sensibly, there are so many different styles of Metal that I'm sure any of us who have a good knowledge of the genre could fit a song to anything.

Damn it Mandui! D:
That was on my list of dances I would challenge Geldar to match with a Metal Song. You spoiled the surprise
Well, the surprise it out so.. Geldar, consider that your next challenge. A metal song for the Laurel & Hardy dance

Re: [Random] Alright Geldar (& co), you asked for it.
Sixes and Sevens by Annihilator, The guitar solo in Word Salad by Annihilator and Satch Boogie by Joe Satriani fit the laurel and hardy dance. Not completly sure if Satch Boogie counts as metal though.
