To moderators: I understand that strictly-speaking this thread does not belong here. However, I believe that RP should be open and accessible to all, and advertising events is the only way to make it so. So, this thread here is a way to check which guilds get to know about events advertised on this forum.

To readers: If you are a guild leader or guild officer, reply that "<my guild> has seen this". If you are a regular member, say "member of <my guild> has seen this". If you are in a non-RP guild or unguilded, just say that you've seen this.

Goal: Ideally we will have a clear idea of which guilds/people are reached through this forum, and which require additional in-game prodding to be notified.

Not exactly sure how many members, or even officers of SGE regurlarly check these forums. But yeah, one officer (me) has seen this! (and I of course bring the message to the rest of the guild if there's something I find interesting).

Heh, it is always a bit of a 'problem' to have information reach all the members of all the guilds. And then also tons of unguilded people. Advertising an event in Calendar is certainly possible, but there is a length-limit. Advertising it at forums, has the risk of missing tons of people.

but imo when it comes to events one basket for all your eggs won't reach everybody. you'll always have to use multiple mediums. to make sure your intended audience is reached.

The best way is by contacting officers of RP guilds in game and referring them to this forum if they want more detailed information regarding the event -- not the other way around.

Having said that, ORB has seen this thread (for whatever reason you want to know that).
