Now it seems we managed to corrupt Fort's topic on top of his students. Damn.
Sorry Fortesgue.

How come so many people are evil nowadays?
Best of luck, Forte.

More like how nearly everything involving the Light and Humans/Elves tends to go horribly wrong... Paladins and Priests probably have some sort of "press here to engage corruption" button on them somewhere.

I think people are just fascinated by the whole corruption plot and the transition from good to evil, or the descent into darkness. Or people just tire of the rather passive stance from being a "goodie goodie".
At least, when I speak with other roleplayers I see many of them interested in a priest somehow, but few actually show interest in a pious character that focuses on philosophy and sticking with the Light. Only a few (1?) actually seemed interested in priestly things like writing ceremonies and debating the Light all night long.
Many more show eyes blinking like christmas trees with excitement upon hearing "corruption". Or perhaps it's just the season's fashion like all those "Emo" kids out there.
I must admit that, if you establish your char as a developed "good two shoes" then it becomes more challenging to initiate plots and intrigues, unless you pick on Hordies every step of the way.
Personally I don't mind being in that position, but I can understand that people prefer a change there, to a stance that permits them to initiate as much RP and provoke more RP.
To each their own taste, but imo there's nothing wrong with a good corruption plot. It can give some interesting moments

Well point of the charm of roleplaying a Moralistic character, is getting him into positions, where he will have to question his own morality. since that's interesting tension to rp in and see how he reacts, will he stay good, will he turn grey or just really turn over to the dark side. for whatever justification that char needs to have.
that's for me the most interresting side of roleplaying a good character. And for now, Amy has reasonably stayed "Good" for the past 6 years.
on the other hand its also interresting to see what happens, when your character cannot do something due to his strong morals. and recieve the consequences of said action or in this case inaction.
but lets not imagine suddenly everyone turns dark now. this has always been the case.
considering one of the three apprentices Fort mentioned was Andrek in lovely vanilla. and there's nothing wrong with that!

Re: The Bishop needs -You-
I'm creating a Worgen Priest for this purpose (hopefully) but I was wondering on what Forty/JP's opinion is on Worgen/Gilnean Priests.
A few things I'm not sure on:
Are they accepted within the Church of the Holy Light?
Not on a personal level but what is the officially "opinion" on Gilneans worshipping and carrying out other priestly duties as a member/follower of the Church of the Holy Light in Worgen form?
Lore wise, would a Gilnean with enough self-control over their Worgen form be able to practice their faith to a level that the Light would answer his prayers still? (Thinking of the broken Draenei.)

From what I gathered, Gilneans do follow the Light and the same Church. They separated themselves as a nation, so it's bound to leave a mark. On one hand, they didn't witness the great "loss" of Light knowledge that the Third war brought, so their knowledge may prove more 'ancient' and traditional... but also less elaborate, depending on how you approach it.
The Worgen curse and the Light don't seem to be at a conflict once control is regained... at least in faith matters. There are several references to the Light by 'respectable' lore characters in the quest chain of Worgen, indicating they still talk in the name of the Light.
Should a Worgen still have access to the Light and its abilities... That is a tough one, but the game suggests it's possible.
That is as far as I go for interpreting the Lore. The game doesn't prohibit it, so I wouldn't delve to deep in making RP rules around a yes or no.
