The Bishop needs -You-
As the Strand is coming along nicely (still looking for more members though!) i am now looking back to the old personal and cliche RP scene of apprentices.
Im looking for some IC apprentices in the priestly Arts, i have so far had three and all were really good fun, even though all three went evil (yes it still makes me cry) and psycho.
Ok, what im looking for,
Someone with patience.
Someone who wants to RP an apprentice priest realistically to the setting.
Someone who doesnt mind getting their hands a little dirty.
Someone who wouldnt mind gaining a bit of responsibility (because you will eventually, from diplomacy to anything i cannot attend myself, so you will go in my stead.)
Someone of any race (and i will accept a Gnome after Cata ships also.)
Someone who isnt going to go evil (ok, who knows what will happen in the future, but i dont want to start this off just to have you turn evil in two weeks time)
Other notes:
Guild doesnt matter.
May be looking for more than one.
How to apply?
Here or in the game would be best.
Any other questions?
Ask below.
Thanks,
Bishop.

Re: The Bishop needs -You-
I would -love- this. Jeanpierre never did complete his training ICly and I had him tumble down a path of RP'ing self education. If you don't mind having good old Pierre the robe fiddler, I'd like to participate. But of course, only if you deem this appropriate
You mention some responsibilities. I already bear some responsibilities towards my guild and some other characters ICly. I don't think there is a conflict in philosophy or political view but I'd like to know more about the frequency of such responsibilities or how time demanding it will be.
"Someone who doesnt mind getting their hands a little dirty." I wonder what you mean with this There are some things my character can not convincingly do (some of these are hard rules I play by).
As we have talked in the past, you know I have a pretty big interest in building up priest training RP as well. However, my main drive in this was a lack of RP in this department (as far as I know) and for my own character. Perhaps I could anchor some of the work I have done to yours or see it as an addition?
It would make sense in character, since Pierre isn't a full trained priest in many respects and is thus not the best teacher/leader for such a program. I'm flexible in this, either way. I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.

OMG, true, happy birthday!
*JP carries a big cake into the cathedral that proudly displays a ton of birthday candles.*
*JP stumbles on his own feet and ends up launching the cake and burning candles towards Fortesgue*
*A burly looking guard notices the flames flying towards Fortesgue and scrambles for a bucket of water, sending the water flying towards Fortesgue*
JP - "Oh dear."
Guard - "Deja Vu..."

Ok, necro revival of the topic because im still looking for apprentices!
Last one also went bye-bye! XD
So, as the starting topic says, im looking for an apprentice or two IC to teach. Always had great fun with this in the past, and i am most definitely able to dedicate the time now.

TBH you deserve an apprentice now who stays all the way and turns bishop himself eventually, NOT going to the dark side at all xD
Good luck, it won't be me *raises banner of evil*

I'd do it but unfortunately Coris is completely evil, to the core and turning others. *Takes a hold of Crojwin's banner*

I think the bishop should stop trying to educate people, since obviously somewhere in his methods he does something wrong... ;-)

Re: The Bishop needs -You-
Apparently my post got munched or I simply forgot to press "send". Anyways, I don't know if Fortesgue was referring to me as "his last one" being gone... (I suppose not), but JP did finally finish his path to priesthood, barring the ceremony.
I would still love to tag along every once in a while with JP if you'll have me, Fortesgue. Or I could assist, if you'd like that. Either is fine.
Or perhaps... I could roll a new priest. *ponders* I had a good priest, so maybe I'll make an evil one now, one that is rotten to the core and will go corrupt and... Oh.. wait..

I think he was referring to Celeste. that was his last one from 2010.

That right there says a lot. Once? Sure, happens. Twice? Bad luck I guess.....but thrice?! Coincidence?! I THINK NOT!Fortesgue wrote:...even though all three went evil (yes it still makes me cry) and psycho.
Good luck with it and happy b-day!
