The Shining Strand's All Hallow's End party!

The 27th of October, at 20:00, The Shining Strand will once again host an All Hallow’s End party!

The theme this year is the fall of the Lich King and our victory in the north. We celebrate that we are alive and we honour the fallen by living!

There will be a brief ceremony, food and drinks, fireworks, good company and, of course, a contests.

Come dressed in the scariest, wickedest and imaginative costume and you can win prizes!

For those who have the courage, a blocked nose and the stomach for it, there will be a contest for eating the most fermented haunted herring. The winner will receive honours befit for such an epic feat!

Finally, there will be a contest for the best joke. Requirements are that it is funny, morbid and/or otherwise disturbing befitting the holiday. Note: TSS take no responsibility for any injury or casualty that may result from poor jokes.

-Gnomish and/or dwarven commandos to safeguard the barrel of fermented haunted herring so the Forsaken don’t steal it for their plague research.

maybe Alakina would like to be judge. I'm not proposing myself as it would not really fit my character and as I might arrive late due to RL, i prefer to not take any responsabilities.

Alakina can be a judge indeed if its necessary otherwise i will just come as a normal partymember and ofc a journalist

I realise that you've put a good deal of work into this, and the event itself sounds awesome, so I'm by no means criticising it - however, the location, eh. While I realise that Raven Hill would be very atmospheric for a Hallow's End party, it seems to me that places like that should be considered dark and dangerous and potentially accursed, rather than a location in which you might have a costume party. Just my two copper.

I agree Annie and the way I thought it, that's somewhat the point. People organise parties in haunted mansions, cemetaries and other creepy places irl. It'd be atmospheric.

Despite all that, I was hard-pressed to find a more suitable location.

I just would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who attended tonight! I was glad to see such a turn-up.

Was quiet fun to RP Tintam here, because her advice was really biased in favour of all man who looked a bit heroic (Maelmoor, Whitker, Eloresh)
