Went on wow.com, just check the articles, then I saw one where a person created loads of sets to go with a particular pets and surroundings, and does so awesomely

I agree with Anaeí (oh my gosh, something we agree upon!) - it's not "the bestest thing ever", nor do I see it as anything close to being so. It matches somewhat, yes, but I don't find it as amazing as you make it sound. Razz

Some of it looks okay, but most of it seems to be the pieces of the same sets (along with a matching pet) which is quite easy to do and not very impressive imo.

knowing how hard it is to knit sets together and adding pets and locations to that, I must say I am rather impressed! Quite well done!

This is an awesome source for RP sets - you can look at the pictures and find an armor that suits your character and copy it right off! As Julia pointed out she is mostly fitting together sets (which is the obvious way to makes sets, but anyway) and that makes it easy to collect!

Didn't look at all.
And in avarage I'd say they are decent. Some are good, some really good. Some of them I found outright horrible.

Each and their own taste, he did gave it some thought and time, so way to go for that. Though, a set creator I recommend of: Exilius. He sold his kidney to create a set once, true story.

Nothing special at all. Ask anybody with model viewer to make you up an RP set and you'd get the same result in about five minutes, especially considering most of them are just green un-sets you slap the same name in (Bobbysaltshaker Trousers/Vest/Boots/Gloves, etc) and ta-da.

I think it's a rather fun idea. And even though some of the sets aren't really anything else but a damn crafted level 12 robe and therefor not impressing at all it kind of entertains me anyway.
I also got my eyes on some MUST HAVE-pieces for my sweet, anti-skirt sergeant. Very Happy

But yeah, respect to the person who did it anyway as it certainly took loads of planning, farming and gold. Smile

People seem to believe creating 50 odd good looking sets that match is 'ease' mode, so that's why I see people wearing a black mageweave shirt with mail leggings, leather boots and.....*Shiver* Lifespark Visage

It's not that hard to dress up your character in sets that match, really.

Anybody can do it! You just look at what the armour looks like, take note and get the other pieces. Like looking up twill stuff and making it match is simple because it all comes under the same name.

They're about as artistic as a kid who liked the look of a pair of shoulderpads.

Not all sets there are premade, mind you. Some combo's -are- original or non trivial.
That doesn't mean making a set is rocket science but creativity isn't limited to mixing predefined sets.
