Kulgar: A Tattered, Old Tale

Kulgar's Song

My song is yet unknown,
In my burrow all alone,
With none to hear the tale,
That I will now unveil.

I was once small and weak,
So very, very, very meek,
But then my father told me,
How great I could truly be.

I cried and cried tears of brine,
As I drank from his ruby wine;
It seared and burned,
But strong I turned.

I was great with what I wrought,
Or that was so I thought;
His ruby wine that I prized,
Had left me to my own demise.

I was once again small and weak,
So very, very, very meek;
I was not strong, I was not great,
Instead I was insatiate.

And now I wait to speak my song,
Waiting, waiting so very long,
For one to come and hear my tale,
And free my soul, set it once again assail.
