The Scarlet Bounty

*A poster is placed on the lamps outside the Stormwind Cathedral, the walls by the Smoking Blade and the bullieten board in the Trade District*

Greetings and salutations noble citizens and soldiers of the Alliance!

I, Galavan Sprogglewrench, librarian of the Kirin Tor libraries within Dalaran, am placing a bounty on the mage known as 'Arcanist Doan'; Doan possesses a book that is of value to me in my research on necromancery powers of the top lieutenants of the Scourge, even with the Lich Kings defeat, the scourge still pose a threat to the crusaders fighting in Northrend, and the book would be beneficial in understanding how to prevent a necromancer his/her ability in raising the undead.

The request is simple, travel to the Scarlet Monastery within Tirisfal Glades, kill any scarlet member who stands in your way to Doan, defeat him and retrive the book, your means of travel there and back are yours to handle, head to the violet citadel and take the portal to the right, I will be waiting there.

Where: Scarlet Monastery, Tirisfal Glades
Bounty: Defeat Arcanist Doan and obtain the book coloured in blue and black
Reward: Two hundred and fifty gold pieces, split between any adventurer who helped with the retrival of the book.

OOC: This will be an IC event on Saturday at 18:00 server time, any alliance wanting to join this RP dungeon run should travel to the outside of the Monastery by the graveyard. You require to be in roleplaying gear.

Note: Anyone who is part of the Scarlet crusade is able to attempt to stop us outside the instance, or perhaps has motives to ambush or betray us while we are inside the dungeon disguised as a member of the Alliance.

((Remember that you can't claim to kill him once and for all, except that, have fun! :S))

((Remember, I said defeat Doan, not kill him, even if the adventurer's claimed to kill him, he'd still be alive in my view, we just beat the shit out of him basically for a book ))

It's not like Doan is a major lore character, so I wouldn't care less of you claim to kill the guy.
People shouldnt worry so much about killing a meaningless NPC.

I never like to claim to kill major lore characters, characters affiliated in highly lore acclaimed factions, claim to be part of major lore factions outside the alliance or horde, plus I'm mindful because I don't know what role he will play during the quests in cataclysm

He's still there in cataclysm SM.
