Just a quick headsup, if any Nassulra, Dobkins, Nachoya, Rötger is seen online. ITS NOT ME, i've been hacked.. Gonna get it sorted out asap, so don't trust any ME's on wow.

Nope! It's only possible in theory. The authenticator number falls the moment you use it. i.e.

With a keylogger on your PC, the hacker would have to type the authenticator number at the same time and press enter before you, so he has the valid login code, insteado f oyu. But then you could just do the same and disconnect him by logging in, thus rendering him entering your account impossible.

The keylogger is 100% secure and uncrackable. Only in theory.

I find it kinda silly being forced to pay for the only 100% keyloggerproof option there is. It should be provided for free if you ask me. Anyways, do not visit sites or click links or receive files that you're not absolutely certain about their origin.

You can also get a authenticator for free, if you have an iPhone, it's a free app that serves as authenticator - I use it.

Well as buying one is usually a money issue, I dout someone has the money for an iphone >.> But not an authenticator.

Anyway, the eight bucks that thing cost shouldn't be TOO much for someones account-safety, seeing as they pay 12 bucks a month for the game itself.

I prefer the copy paste method. It's as secure as an authenticator and it's for free

Yeah because keyloggers only ever go after your wow account it's not like they could be there for your credit card details or anything like that nope

Trust me, this one was after my WoW details hurrrr. And it failed to get it durrrr. But meh, 5 years hack free without an authenticator must mean something. And even if it doesn't, not visiting questionable sites or clicking on questionable links/receiving questionable files is indeed the safest way to go. Has worked for me for this long so I'm happeh ^^

Ask your friends for some questionable sides and then see how your copy paste method works?

Copy pasting doesn't work. The keyloggers logs the clipboard as well. Vaneras confirmed that, so you've just been lucky.

You can download the free mobile app, and a free simulator to run it on your PC. There's a guide to that on the general forum somewhere.

Weird...I just got myself 'hacked' on purpose and it did work o_O

Edit: This got me interested and curious now. Does it perhaps depend on what sort of a keylogger that is? Because if it does, both Mr. Wannabe Hacker and I used really shitty ones. Anyways, like I already said in my first reply

Remember also that perhaps the keylogs you received, the distributor of it may be missing, the ftp/email that the logs are sent to may be down

but as a rule of thumb, don't copy and paste thinking your safe, because in my experience any good keylog gets clipboard, and most take screenshots.

I did get the logs, but the password part wasn't there, neither for WoW nor for my email.
