The Pilgrimage

It is finally time for this annual event! (even if there wasn't one last year)

Date: Sunday 22nd August
Time: 18.00
Location: Stormwind Cathedral
Rules: No mounts, marching together

Whispers in the wind, foretelling of what is to come, a prophecy of war, famine and darkness, in such times we need the Light more than ever. To guide us and lead us upon a path that mayhap can lead to a better future? For it is only Light that can shatter darkness and it is only by giving aid to those in need and respect your allies and friends that we can seek this more fortunate fate.

It was Uther who told us these teachings, even thou he fell by the most ill-fated betrayal the world ever seen, his spirit does live on and his sacrifice will not be in vain.
Our pilgrimage will lead us to his tomb and not only honour what he gave us but also give us a moment to consider, a moment to gather our thoughts among friends, a moment of peace for the mind and with the knowledge that we achieve something that will show the strength of our souls.

Those of you who wish to take part in The Pilgrimage will gather outside the Cathedral of Light on Sunday the Twenty second of August at six bells, we shall march without mounts and we shall march together. When the sun slowly climbs down at the horizon we will hopefully reach Uthers Tomb where a speech will be held and where those faithful til the end will receive a blessing.

Everyone who follows the Light or is merely curious of the Light is welcome to attend, I have invited the "Light" guilds and other persons I know follow the Light.

If you wish to attend and have not received an invite then send a whisper/letter to me Maelmoor or Shariah (or write here in the forums) and we can add you to the calendar. You can also turn up at the event if you do not care about a calendar invite.

As always we will march the holy path up to Uthers Tomb where a number of small events will happen, including a great speach!

I've in my guild several players (RL and web friends) which have never role played, but really would like to be initiated. I need to find cool events which can impress them and give them the taste of RP. (this would also be a win for the RP community btw ^^)
I know you are a great role player to have RP with you on Eledeza (twin night elves). Do you agree if I bring with me those beginners Rpers ? Someone of them can choose to be "invisible" to just see and assist.

Very nice event !
I enjoyed a lot to role play my character with different persons along this long road. I got some nice Spiritual discussion with humans, some very funny interaction with dwarves, differents chatting with draeneis. I also coninued nicely my personals stories with Alakina and Whitestar.
Two others of my guildies get initiated to Role Play along this event and apparently enjoyed it !

Thanks for all who did participe, was great fun and went smoothly overall. Just took a bit over three hours and 35 brave souls reached the tomb, only a few dropped off along the way!
