Here here! I work on a farm with hay and everything, and I have hay fever. Pollen everywhere from the boss ladies massive garden. Hay in my face when I'm playing with my horses and ponies. I can't walk for sneezing when I'm there!

I've got a major migreine... It's bloody freezing outside, as if it was mid-autumn, and I have to go to work because I', responsible for closing up, when all I really want to do, is cul up under the covers and sleep for the rest of the day. D:

Also, my watersupply decided to get broken yesterday evening, so I have no water to shower, and no water to wash my work-uniform.

And the pollen is driving me mad, as I can hardly breathe, and it feels like someone's stabbed my eyes with a fork.

*mumblegrumbles* And I want coffee. :<

Tsh it's been a few weeks now :P I like it now, I've readjusted to it! Yesterday was horrible though ... I got up at 5am to go for a run, it was something like 35C and 80% humidity. My shirt ended up dissolving in the festering sweat soup

it's something like 50C now, but no humidity. It's actually really nice, it feels like your skin is getting baked aaah ...

So yesterday started out funny. at around noon me and my colleagues were going to get lunch, and low and behold there were some contractors busy in front of the entrance of our building, they had this digging machine and were digging a hole to place some underground garbage containers (why you'd put garbage containers right infront of the Main entrance, where guests and clients come in... guests and clients from multi-billion dollar corporations and what-not... is beyond me but meh, universities aren't that bright)

so the machine is starting to dig and we go to the store and get some food, we walk back 15 minutes later and instead of the machine digging, there's this dude in there with a spade. so naturally we make some silly comments. in the style: "so the machine broke down? you have to manually dig now?" and some other more silly ones that don't translate well. but in any case the dude didn't see the humour in it and was all serious: "no, we got to pre-check where the cables and pipes are. even though we have the maps, and we have radar equipment to find them, we still check manually to make sure." Right whatever... radar isn't good enough? well have fun finding the pipes so you can then avoid them with your digging machine.

So we get inside and start to eat our lunch. and 30 minutes later "Bam" the lights go off, the internet is disconnected and the electricity in the entire building is down except for the emergency lights...

Jep you guessed it.

the hit the pipe and broke it down.

So Naturally I was amused and in a pretty good mood. stupidity like this you don't see every-day. so i spend the rest of the afternoon doing stuff i normally don't have time for (cleaning and tidying up the office and shit going through months and months of samples finally throwing out the bad ones etc, filing stuff and what not... ))

and the good part i got off an hour earlier since the power was still not back on. so safe to say i was in a pretty good mood.

but then today, this morning, I get back in the office and power up the old pc, loading the documents that i was working on...and fuck...

File-corrupted...

and the recovery and repair functions aren't working either... fuck...

but alright, i have an auto-save back-up on an usb stick that was inside my pc.

so I open that bad boy...

what?

"an error has occurred with your hardware..."

fuck...

you got to be shitting me...

it appears this power-outage and what not has fried my usb-stick.. how i don't fucking know.. but it has...

and now the latest back-up is have is from friday morning..

30 hours down the drain...

30 hours that I have to fucking redo....

Fuck...

Crap...

I managed to process all the fucking orders and make every deadline I had in time so i had two weeks of just doing the general work administration, writing, maintenance and the like shit that's always around and pretty easy to do, though time consuming before i'm off to the mountains.

so now i get a call from my boss who is on his fucking holiday... that I have two weeks to build a fully functioning machine that's going to be shipped to china in three weeks...

so now my last two weeks of working will be bloody 80 hour weeks...

now fingers crossed that none of the parts needed malfunctions... >.>

My new nephew was born this morning. And after my step-sister couldn't persuade my brother to name him my choice of Kaiden, they settled with 'Keegan'. You know, one of the most common names for a black Labrador. Seriously. He has a fucking dogs name now. Also reminds me of a duck.

Some people shouldn't be allowed to name children.
