Well, I disagree to some extent. I believe the law exists to try and protect against certain 'mistakes' before they happen and the 'age of consent' has to be drawn somewhere. But that's the sentiment I believe he was expressing. There are varying severities of what the public define as rape and we should trust Judges to make judgement calls on such matters.

Maybe im just a cruel person for thinking people (mostly the young) should just deal with the shit they get themselves into. We've often had these discussions in class and it mostly returns to the parents not talking enough to thier kids but thats a whole other discussion. Neutral

No no, its not okay then, but if the drunk person actually agrees in his/her drunken state, then its just the person being foolish getting too drunk, the guy / girl asking could be perfectly geniune. (Not saying theres not other cases.)

Just because your victim is under influence, doesn't excuse any crime.
Being drunk does not excuse you of your own responsibilities however. It doesn't when you drive, it doesn't on social events, it just doesn't anywhere.

I completely agree which is why I was trying to make sure I understood Ave. It seemed like a really ... harsh thing to imply.

I am sick and tired of this studying. I utterly despise mathematics and physics. I hate it, there is not a single part of it which remotely interests me. Not a single part which I believe would be beneficial for me to know. And yet I have spent my last few days studying it. Not once, not twice. No, each and every day, hours on end.

I hate it. There's no other way to put it. I hate it, but at least there's light at the end of the tunnel.

But ya, I feel your pain :p. I haven't had enough time for a run in four days now. Planning to go for a run in a bit but tomorrow, two chemistry exams! Grr! But at least I finish on the 27th: only 5 more days aaah!!!

... First chemistry exam was SO easy. I was so sure I got 100% in it, but then as soon as the exam paper left my hand, I realized I had SO many stupid mistakes but at least my other chemistry exam went well.

There's a quote in my organic chemistry book about students failing exams because of questions were the "right" answer was later proven wrong.

MOBILE PHONES. WHY DO PEOPLE SWITCH THEM OFF? God. Puppy sick. Mother's phone is off... emergency vet is useless piece of shit. Tells me everything I already know. -.- AND THAT USELESS WOMAN WON'T KEEP HER PHONE ON WHEN SHE KNOWS PUPPY IS ILL. :@ I don't know whether I'm raging or panicking. >.<
