Re: Snapshot Book
My band of bumbling thieves had our big adventure today, breaking into the tower of a Magi and getting our arses kicked by all his traps. Shrika picked up a book at one point, and it bit her. xD
It may bare a superficial resemblance to Karazhan, but it is in fact a random tower which burned to the ground tonight!
Here's Morinth and Breddek admiring their artwork. Alas, the piece was consumed by flames, and no longer available.

The group carefully tread the halls at this point... Strange things were happening. Rampage scraped his knee when an enchanted arrow missed it by inches.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Shrika went mental when she found this sight. She still tried to save all the burning books when one took a snap at her.

We found a door leading to the balcony and went out for air more than anything, there was the suspicious smells of burning catching up to us...
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Mojo tried to steal a pot, and our friend, the mage, was not a happy fellow. One of his many illusions tried to destroy us, and we were in a bad way.

I had my hands full playing Dungeon Master unfortunately, or I would have had some better quality shots to show.

Re: Snapshot Book
It's the first time I've ever done this type of event, never mind been DM. I spent the last week thinking up events that could happen as we travelled, be it echoing laughter or triggering magical traps.
I used raid warnings to get them through to everyone. I used them to point out suspicious objects, trigger traps, attacks and 'enemy emotes' if you will. If someone approached an object I'd pointed out, it was at their own peril as I had results all set out based on a rolling system. For the items, I'd have bad effects and good ones based on the rolls. Only one single person over the whole night (and it took around 3 hours) got a beneficial roll of that sort, and he managed to land an immunity roll. The artifact he retrieved granted him a beneficial buff which protected him from the next action roll.
I had dreadful rolls myself, as I included my own character of course. But as the leader, she had to grit her teeth and get her team safely out, by the end of it, there was fire everywhere.
Some stuff acted as modifiers to our next action rolls, and a lot of us had bad modifiers, where we had to add on a number to roll, making the outcome a bit more serious for us. I made sure that rolling never exceeded 10 for any event, most were lower, to avoid confusion.
I don't know if I did good or bad, but they all said they had a great time and thanked me for organising it. They want more! We had different party members throughout too with some people having to log, and some getting on late. So we had more than ten overall which worked out fine. I hope it spurs on our lowbies to level more! Some couldn't get in unfortunately.

For the sake of posting stuff on the realm forums I'll start making screenshots more often, I had this one atleast:
Power trial for the shadowbreaker all happened rather quickly and randomly.

Some thing that Paozi is a cute, quirky old Panda. His niece knows the truth. Paozi is the bringer of death and destruction, as testified by this picture:

A Red Blade tribe gathering in Kun-Lai. Littered about the area are the skeletons of those that unsuccessfully attempted to disrupt proceedings. Pandaria is dangerous, but the tenacious orcs will weather any storm.

I have a better looking hat now and I'm not afraid to wear it!
Here's a trio of screenshots to illustrate some of the RP I have been having in Pandaria.

Pao leading some unsuspecting Freelancers to one of his horrbile Sha "workshops", where we learn how to say No! to the Sha.

Another brief encounter with the Banner of Bloodhoof in Krasarang.
