In-game advertising

I would've put this in game-related but it applies to all of battle net so starcraft 2 will probably have it too heh

I don't see anything that would say we'll have in-game advertising. Perhaps be a bit more exact?

It's something people will learn to ignore if it happens. Just like it went with the mohawk masks and other RL references.

What she said. I doubt highly they'll stick big bill boards up. And you'll probably find those Night Elf Mohawks are this advertising. Or one of the examples.

Yeah, those Mohawks are advertisements, so you're complaining about something that's already been in game for 2 years.

The calender events could be classed as advertisement too, what with all the sweet references in Hallow's Eve and Santa at Christmas. All making commercial holidays.

Tbh, I'll just blame the goblins for the ads.

Although it won't go this far, I won't be surprised when I see a Coca-Cola billboard in SC2 on a planet in a galaxy far far away.

"Ye olde Google" sounds pretty awesome though as an advert
