I never saw this game come around... (It's been shut down and will possibly come back in 2011)

It failed hardcore because developpers didn't do shit with the feedback they got from beta. Unbalanced weapons, lag issues, shitass handling of vehicles and crappy aim.

Kinda sucks if thats the main points of your game

I enjoyed it. Getting into a pimped out squad car with 3 friends and cruising the town, killing criminals and upholding the law... It was fun. Not very good when you play solo, however, and solo experience is waht makes or breaks MMOs these days.

I'm looking forward to the F2P relaunch.

I played the beta and the gameplay was horrid. I did enjoy particular things in the game, although. As mentioned before, the customization was absolutely brilliant.

Word. I put about 60-80 hours into the beta, and although the game had A LOT of flaws, if you were cruising in a team of 4 (max party size) the game was a blast, especially if you got matched up against equally skilled teams, or a horde of scrubs.

If it goes f2p I'll try it out again for sure, my main problem with it at launch was that it was way too expensive to play, hence why I chose not to buy it.

As for APB, if they just improved the feel of the guns and the solo experience that's really all it needs for success.
