[A] The Underforge; The Black Market Event - (every 2nd Friday)

The general insight of outlaws and criminals being the 'lowest' scum of the society isn't exactly inaccurate, least not for those who reside in the city of Underforge. Located in the darkest and deepest part of Ironforge, built within a maze of streets, forgotten clan halls, mining shafts and forlorn places the Underforge is one of the places even the long arm of justice fear to reach. As a city where crime is the rule, and where traits such as honour and valour are frowned upon, the Underforge is a dangerous place for anyone to enter unprepared and prepared alike. Criminal groups skulk around its dark and ruined halls, while bands of merciless thugs enforce the ruthless laws of their criminal thanes. Murder and theft is a part of Underforge life, so are the Warlocks who openly roam around with their cursed minions at their side. And of course your local neighbourhood necromancer who's out to harvest the fresh corpses of last nights bloody fight. With no law enforcement, the Underforge is a haven for everybody who wishes to escape the prying eyes of the law enforcers, and for those in need of rare and sometimes dark goods mostly frowned upon by the 'upper classes'. The Underforge got a lot to offer, if you are brave (or foolish) enough to explore it's ruined depths.

The Underforge, an event that have changed name many times for various reasons is a reoccurring "Black Market" event organized every second Friday, starting at 20:00. The event is located in Dalaran Underbelly, while IC representing abandoned caverns and sections beneath Ironforge. It is also a semi-active RP hub that offers a neutral environment to outlaws and other shady folk. A place to meet other like-minded, a place where law-enforcers have no power and dark magic remain unrestricted. The location also suits as a platform for organized underworld activities, events, In-Character contact and recruitment for groups and dark schemes. Authority within The Underforge is held by no-one, but nothing stands there to prevent various gangs to take over the place...

(aka. if you want to "take over", go ahead, but expect an IC reaction to IC actions. Merchants at least won't be happy if they suddenly will have to pay taxes or protection fees.)

Where is the Hub located?
Dalaran Underbelly, Northrend. Used to represent IC "The Underforge", abandoned sections of Ironforge. The Underforge was a creation of The Three Hammers, a Dwarf RP guild on the server. The description and lore behind the place are of their making.

Usage of Space
Space is "owned" by people only as long as they occupy it. The second people leave the space, it is free prey for others to occupy.

Horde
While the initiative is organized from the Alliance side, Horde Roleplayers are more than welcome to attend, providing that they are peaceful and with methods to cross the language barrier set by Blizzard.

Fixed. Thanks for pointing it out. As for informing people outside forums, i have already contact a dozen of guilds and individuals. I do intend to continue poking about Blackrock to every person i can remember attending to The Underforge, so that part is under control

I myself and several other roleplayers do intend to hang out there regularly, so feel free to pop by. Safe to check through Blackrock channel first though or /who Blackrock Mountain, since we may be doing OOC stuff as PvP from time to time.

I've always put the Underforge on our guild calendar so people who want to go know when it's on. Even now that we're in Pandaria, I just know those sneaky lads that want to sneak off and do some shady business behind their leader's back will find a way to do so.

Should be noted! The area you need to jump across - Warlocks can avoid all of this hassle by casting your Eye of Kilrogg, and using it to jump instead, before casting your Demonic Circle. The Eyes smaller size appears to make it alot easier to make the specified jump. Also, if your Eye falls down, you can simply recast the spell.

There should be instructions how to get into the location listed in the main post. However, you can always /join Underforge and ask for a summon from one of the Warlocks who are attending

Yes, the event starts at 20:00 Server Time. /join Blackrock if you haven't already to ask about summons, or alternatively run there yourself.

Black Market is today, starting at 20.00. Get to the location yourself by the instructions in the main post, or whine for a summon from /Blackrock channel.

It's also a brilliant reason for all the "darkies" to get involved in the WoD story-line! Relocate to Draenor.

Depending on how the travel between Draenor and Azeroth works, some merchants might. Relics of an alien world must be of some value.

Also, updated Thread Name to contain the most recent event dates to come.

Due to a recent increase of WPvP activity, the event will relocate to Dalaran Underbelly, which will be used to represent [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] instead of Blackrock Mountain as the location of the Black Market. Apologies to all who looked forward to the event in the old location. While WPvP enthusiasm is understandable, this is not the event for it.

Main Post will be updated later to account to the changes.

The event happens at Friday, at 20:00 server time. Summons will be provided as normal.

The Dalaran sewers are an -awesome- location.

I don't understand why we simply don't have it there instead, both IC and OOC.
