Re: (Out of Date) Characters - Self-View, and the view of other 2013-14
(lol Krogon, you wrote about your character not how he perceives himself!)
Rae Wulfgnar sees himself as a beacon of the Light, one with unbreakable faith both mentally and physically. Intimidation is what he favours, he really doesn't want to attack the living so feigns anger to avoid attacking any-one. Justice comes first and if that means putting his friends in jail then he will do so without question.
He believes that because he is a bastard and an orphan child that his worth is meaningless, he doesn't deserve to have the same lives as those that were born from marriage and happy families. He also truly believes that his only purpose in life is to fight and protect the living, no matter who they are. He knows that he is only a servant of the Light and its will, that he must fight to preserve life and ultimately, die for it.
His view on others, especially women, is that they are divine beings because they can create life and deserve the best men to breed with. He views the faithless with pity and will always try to push them to see the greatness of the Light. His view on Arcanists are the same, pity and not hate, to keep them at a distance because they stand on the thin line between sanity and corruption. He is wary of other races, especially Draenei as he still believes they are connected to the Eredar and are not truly pure as they make out they are.
Jeremias Blackwell likes to live up to the image of a humble Priest and believes he truly is a divine prophet of the Light. He likes nothing more than to decide the fate of the faithless, choosing whether they live or die according to the virtues of the Light. He sees nobody but his fellow Priests as equals to his own greatness.
He views every-one with pity, the Light hasn't granted them its powers so their lives are meaningless. This means that he is paranoid that they will easily become corrupted so he views every-one who is not a Priest with the potential to become corrupted or are already corrupted.

Areyah:
- Spoiler:
- Wulf perhaps has a little crush on Areyah. Jeremias dislikes her greatly.
Drustai:
- Spoiler:
- Wulf would love nothing more than to destroy and burn her.
Helmut:
- Spoiler:
- Wulf likes Helmut, seeing him as a friend. Jeremias dislikes him, but perhaps sees the Gnome has his uses.
Monrena:
- Spoiler:
- Wulf likes her but is still wary of her.
Iriel:
- Spoiler:
- Wulf loves her like a sister, though he thinks she has blinded faith to the people she cares about regardless of justice.
Arenfel:
- Spoiler:
- Wulf adores Arenfel, seeing him as a father figure. He views him as being hot headed (see his view on Arcanists above) and perhaps blinded to his own dependency on his magic, despite his belief in the Light.

Re: (Out of Date) Characters - Self-View, and the view of other 2013-14
Gor'Thrak doesn't find himself to be of much importance due to the simple fact that he's undead, as a matter of fact he's disgusted by and hates his undeath and would rather be with his ancestors on the eternal plains. However, he still refuses to commit suicide or anything of the like, seeking an honourable death. He believes that he can use himself as a tool to protect those he care for now that he's undead, not caring for his own well being. One could say he's quite cold, although he sometimes he does indulge in social matters. This is however usually due to ulterior motives such as making people trust him and keeping things functional.
On the other hand, he believes himself to be a near perfect killing machine and more capable of successfully fighting a battle or war than most others, even though his aim is to fight for those that are alive, viewing them as his kind's future.
As he believes that the greatest honour is to do everything within one's power to protect those that one cares for, he finds all means to be acceptable, as long as they lead towards a better end. Still, he usually tries to carry out most things without doing things that some may view as dishonourable, but as previously mentioned won't let anything hold him back, finding that sometimes an evil must be commited for the greater good.
Honour, pride and the like are traits that he believe himself to contain, them being the traits that he focuses the most on. He also views himself as clever, cunning and to some degree wise, prefering the cold truth and disliking blind faith and supposed honour (Believing there to be a difference between stupidity and honour). He also takes pride in his hard earned experience.
Getting to know Gor'Thrak properly is a difficult task for most, he rarely opens himself to others, largely remaining a cold and straight to the point kind of Orc with a short fuse.
As for other races the only ones that he really care for are Orcs, Trolls and Tauren, but he also acknowledges that there are some individuals within most races that contain some good qualities that he could grow to care for, although it takes quite a bit.
He hates the entire Alliance with a passion, in particular Humans, wanting to see them all given a merciless and painful death and eradicated from the surface of Azeroth.
While remaining friendly towards the rebellion and wishing to aid them he's utterly disgusted by their peace treaty with the Alliance, believing it to be both a strategically and morally incorrect course of action.
May add more people as time passes.

- Grim:
- Gor'Thrak reveres this Orc, believing that if he follows him victory and the best of outcomes is certain. He agrees with just about all of Grim's views and thinks of him as a friend and true leader. If Gor'Thrak was to mention an error in his ways it would be that he's too quick to act at times, not assessing the situation enough to choose a more approtiate time to strike, or course of action. However, Gor'Thrak takes note of that this in itself makes him seem more like an Orc that common people can recognize themselves in, making them more comfortable, loyal towards him and him all the more trustworthy. In general an aura and sense of feeling that creates unity and keeps the spirits high, which is an important factor in a leader which Gor'Thrak does not view himself to grasp as firmly.
- Orcs of the Red Blade:
- Gor'Thrak holds a distaste towards this group of Orcs, although there are individuals within it that he behaves friendly towards. He believes that they need to learn their place and the fact that they do not hold any form of authority over people of other groups than their own. He also views the group as volatile, hypocritic and ignorant. Personally he'd rather not get involved with them and simply leave them to their own business.
- Shatterskull Marauders:
- Gor'Thrak is indifferent towards this group. Due to his nature he holds few emotions of caring for them or wishing to help them unless it does good for the greater cause, or if it helps the Clan, even if he was with them for a year. This is because after recent conflicts he does not view them as being worthy of his time or effort, almost like a tool that has fulfilled its purpose. As a side note he doubts their usefulness in war at times due to a lack of discipline, order and tactics.
- Brugh:
- Gor'Thrak views this Orc as a capable warrior, a typical Orc and aspiring leader with good potential, although he does need some guidance to be taught the proper ways. However, Gor'Thrak does view him as slightly dense.
- Alph'el:
- Gor'Thrak views this Elf as the plague itself, an utter annoyance and the source of many headaches. He does however recognize his abilities within the art of the arcane itself, but beyond that he doesn't view him as anything but a fool.
- Rargnasha:
- Gor'Thrak recognizes this Orc's abilities as a leader/officer. On the other hand he doesn't think that he's fit to stand at the very top of a group due to excessive egoism, stubbornness and only seeing things as he wants them to be, having a superiority complex.
- Grogona:
- Gor'Thrak views this Orc as a good fighter with her wits mostly in the right place. If he was ever to discuss or speak with the Red Blade again this is who amongst them he would prefer doing it with.
- Himo:
- Gor'Thrak views this Tauren as an overly dense fool that allows his morales to get in the way of common sense. On the other hand he views him as a friendly and an okay leader, although easy to manipulate if it ever was to become necessary.
May add more people as time passes.

Grim Grim views himself as better than most people. He is intelligent for an orc, though perhaps not quite as intelligent as he thinks he is. He likes to confuse / surprise people who are expecting to deal with a big, dumb orc.
Grim is the sort of guy who once he's given his opinion on a subject will then stop listening and not pay attention to other people's opinions (we all know people like that IRL!). He views most people as tools to be used and discarded; though recently he's grown fond of quite a few people.
He has black moods and is aware of them but finds himself incapable of changing and is prone to indecision at times.
Grim wants to be famous, respected, feared and/or loved. Most of his actions go towards these goals, even if indirectly. He's usually smart enough to make his actions look benevolent and honourable and has no fear of getting involved in murky politics to get his own way.
How he views others:
Gor'Thrak:
Krogon:
Alph'el:
Jahzeem:
Helmut:
Catari:
Zan'fe:
Rhiga:
Haluthious:
Jean-Baptiste de Gouille:

How he views others:
Gor'Thrak:
- Spoiler:
- at first he considered Gor'Thrak just another death-walker. To be sent to the front lines to kill until he was killed (again). However, serving with him in the Marauders proved Gor'Thrak's ability and Grim now respects his abilities hugely. After Gor'Thrak stood beside him during the rebellion against the rebelllion he now views him as something of a lucky charm and an integral part of the Blood Wolves. Gor'Thrak is an orc Grim trusts.
Krogon:
- Spoiler:
- Grim viewed Krogon as one of the Orcs of the Red Blade he was closest to. He considered him a friend and an ally. However, the rebellion changed that completely and now Grim views Krogon as little more than cheerleader for General Bloodmark's foolishness.
Alph'el:
- Spoiler:
- Grim respected Alph'el back in the Marauders, but since the split and (in his view) a very arrogant meeting afterwards he now believes this elf beneath contempt. This elf is too flighty, too vapid, and is more concerned with the state of his / her hair than anything truly important. Is also now in the firm belief that Alph'el is some kind of hermaphrodite - gender differences between elves confuse Grim at the best of times.
Jahzeem:
- Spoiler:
- Grim finds trolls creepy at the best of times, though is careful not to let them know this. Jahzeem is a very creepy troll indeed. He holds a grudging respect for Jahzeem's seeming ability to bounce back from anything, including death. He also respects the fact they have fought beside each other many times, and Grim has received 'medical' attention from the mad old troll more than once. Though, the very fact that Jahzeem returned from the grave disturbs Grim as it is unnatural. Grim and Jahzeem fought besides each other many times, and Grim has been on the receiving end of Jahz's 'medical' attention more than once.
Their recent meetings have ended badly as Jahzeem repeatedly tried to assault Grim. The Blood Wolves tied Jahzeem up and abandoned him in Dustwallow Marsh, Grim refused to order his execution due to his mixed feelings about him.
Helmut:
- Spoiler:
- Grim holds a burning hatred for the Alliance - specifically the night elves and humans. Dwarves he respects, and once he had been informed that gnomes were not dwarf children he began to view them with curiosity. None more so than Helmut. Helmut and Grim have fought on opposite battlelines for many years, and Helmut's face became a regular sight for Grim. He knows little of this gnome's machinations and political intrigues within the Alliance but would dearly like him dead anyway.
Catari:
- Spoiler:
- One of the few elves who Grim holds in relatively high regard. Her combat skills and determination to win have always impressed Grim as they contrast so highly against the majority of other blood elves he has met. Grim respects Catari hugely, also being quite attracted to the skinny little paladin. However, he does not like her much. Her views on the world differ too greatly from his own.
Zan'fe:
- Spoiler:
- Like most trolls Grim is wary of Zan'fe, he does however value her skills with voodoo and hexes. He gladly wears any talismans and totems she makes him, trusting her talent to protect him. As only the second stranger to join the Blood Wolf Clan Grim feels a certain protectiveness towards Zan'fe.
Rhiga:
- Spoiler:
- Shocked by the lack of help this orc had received with her corrupted pregnancy Grim took it upon himself to aid her in any way he could. Her crude tongue and frank and open discussions on sexual matters worry Grim, often making him blush. This being said, Rhiga is clearly capable of looking after herself and as such Grim respects her.
An attractive orc, Rhiga's frequent attempts to 'tap' Grim leave him confused as he is not used to it!
Haluthious:
- Spoiler:
- Grim considers this Forsaken to be useful, if not now then perhaps in the future. Haluthious is clearly intelligent, which makes Grim wish to interact with him. However, Haluthious is still Forsaken and therefore Grim is unlikely to ever fully trust him.
Jean-Baptiste de Gouille:
- Spoiler:
- Another Forsaken, and therefore almost definately untrustworthy. This one also appears to be a coward, and not as intelligent as the rest of his kind. A mere annoyance, to be ignored.
Sylphi:
- Spoiler:
- Someone Grim has worked with, for and against many times over the years. He has a healthy though grudging respect for her intellect and powers. Grim will never truly forgive her for some of her previous actions, such as mind-controlling him, faking a murder attempt on him and various other things. He does however recognise that she has her uses. Grim enjoys the witty banter and intelligence that marks this elf, making his feelings towards her a strange mixture of dislike and friendship.
Mozrogg:
- Spoiler:
- An orc Grim originally viewed as a loudmouth and a fool, though also an orc who's fighting skills Grim acknowledged as being impressive. Recently Grim has come to view Mozrogg in a more positive light and is looking forward to discovering the 'real' Mozrogg.
Sakarah:
- Spoiler:
- One of the few people Grim truly cares for. Her kindness and wisdom is a constant inspiration to Grim. He would savage and destroy anything or anyone who caused harm to her and is liable to cause physical harm to anyone even insulting her.
Tazgulu:
- Spoiler:
- A troll Grim has enormous respect for. Responsible for much of the Blood Wolves entry into Orgrimmar and therefore held in high regard by Grim. His scouting skills and his marksmanship are trusted and used regularly. A troll not afraid to speak his mind at all. Grim considers Tazgulu one of his more useful Wolves.
Ghelgor:
- Spoiler:
- Grim holds extremely mixed feelings towards this grizzled old orc. They have fought beside each other for many years now and Grim holds nothing but admiration for Ghelgor's ferocity in combat. However, Ghelgor's lack of morals and complete obedience to orders, no matter how dishonourable they are set Grim's teeth on edge. The first few years of their relationship had Grim looking up to Ghelgor as an almost surrogate-father, but later on things soured and the two clashed more and more, both physically and verbally. Still, the spirits have seen fit to show Grim a potential future, where him and Ghelgor die side by side in glorious battle. As such Grim wants Ghelgor by his side and is relieved to find him willing to march alongside him in the Blood Wolf Clan.
Shargla:
- Spoiler:
- An orc Grim only really knows through reputation. Clearly a shaman of power and therefore someone to be respected, however her choice of what Chieftain to follow spells out a reckless disregard for the Horde's future. Also, the shamans within her Tribe, including her, had refused or been unable to aid Rhiga, shocking Grim somewhat.

Pretty sure that is infact the same thing, and yes I did write about how he percieves himself. He's very self aware and machine like.Rae Wulfgnar wrote:(lol Krogon, you wrote about your character not how he perceives himself!)
Grim:
- Spoiler:
- Krogon used to admire Grim for his tenacity and blunt methods. He didn't mess around and got straight to the point with matters, no nonsense. Now however he see's that Grim has become engulfed in his own anger and pride while ignoring everything else around him, To his mind he's now a liability to the horde.
Grim will also be pleased to know that Krogon and rarg have parted ways ;o

Paozi Wulong
Paozi has come to see himself as a weapon to be used to protect Pandaria and tends to project this outlook on to different people he interacts with. Just as he is to be used as a shield against possible threats, so can he in turn use other people for the same purpose.
Paozi is selfless in the truest sense of the word: he lacks motivations of his own and lives a life of servitude and duty. He would consider his own motivations – if he had any – a distraction from the greater goal. The degree to which Paozi considers himself to be a tool of the Shado-pan is perhaps best exemplified by the fact that, before going into a serious battle, he will swallow a batch of explosives and hand the detonator to his superiors.
Keep in mind that Paozi, for all the masks of being a happy and oafish pandaren senior, is a a rather cold and calculating person on the inside and tends to mistrust almost anyone who isn't pandaren. Please don't feel insulted by how poorly my character thinks about yours!

- Areyah:
- Paozi sees Areyah as a military commander competent for Alliance standards. He sees in her a pragmatist with whom one can negotiate in a rational and respectable manner. However, these traits that command respect in Paozi also urge him to caution.
- Helmut:
- Paozi has been mistrusting of Helmut ever since they met. He sees in Helmut the worst kind of selfish scoundrel; an amoral opportunist that is only out for his own good. The very antithesis of what a proper soldier ought to be.
He also talks too much.
- Drustai:
- Had her chance of redemption and wasted it. Kill on sight.
- Sophyra:
- Threat, but too powerful a threat to combat head-on. However, her pride makes her easy to manipulate. Keep out of Pandaria.
- Arenfel:
- Useful for his knowledge and the respect he commands amongst some Alliance members. Easy to manipulate, as long as you aim for either the sentimental or the hedonistic side.
- Monrena:
- Sha-threat (Doubt). Keep out of Pandaria.
- Wulfgnar:
- Major Sha-threat (Anger). Keep out of Pandaria.
- Feral:
- Cute kid.
- Siegmund:
- Incompetent and pompous buffoon. Easy to manipulate. Not a soldier.
- Krogon:
- Overconfident and not nearly as clever as he thinks himself to be. Helpful as a source of information on Orcish movements. Easy to manipulate, as long as he is allowed to believe that he is the manipulator.
- Ragnarsha:
- Prideful and pompous. Easy to manipulate with flattery and servitude.

The poetic irony is that thats exactly how Krogon views Paozi funny how things work out.

I do agree, it seems at most times topics like these are heavily dominated by Alliance, which is honestly a shame. I'd love to see more Horde inputs.Grim wrote:More Horde people should do this. Alliance are dull!

Re: (Out of Date) Characters - Self-View, and the view of other 2013-14
Fine. Time for a serious version.
Alph'el sees herself as a failure. She's never attained arch-mage-ship, she's never in her five-hundred years of life found someone that adores her, and she's self-conscious about her appearance to the point of insanity, going through great lengths to alter it with magic to come closer to an image of Elvish perfection.
Her mind is a shattered mess that only rarely seems to be able to focus, and that only happens when there's magic involved. She doesn't understand people and their connections, and is all to aware of that. She is prone to contradiction; Thinks priests and other "divine casters" are dumb slaves to what she calls "the divine intellect", yet is envious of the abilities that it grants them and their ability to "just have faith".
She plays along with her insanity and puts up a shell of flirtatious, snobby, or down-right mean behavior, to make sure no-one can find out what a rotten old hag she is on the inside.
It's better to be hated then to be pitied.

She plays along with her insanity and puts up a shell of flirtatious, snobby, or down-right mean behavior, to make sure no-one can find out what a rotten old hag she is on the inside.
It's better to be hated then to be pitied.
- Grim:
- Pig-headed, incompetent, bumbling buffoon not even fit to be a peon.
- Exolth:
- Sweet, but dumb.
- Sakarah:
- Surprisingly level-headed for a druid. Someone to respect.
- Shriukan:
- Pig-headed, incompetent, bumbling buffoon not even fit to be a peon.
- Darilas:
- Loves his sense of style and "true elvishness", doesn't understand why someone that seems like such a bright young man didn't enroll in magic school and became a lowly farstrider instead. She considers Darilas a friend.
- Hikka:
- Racist maniac that's out to destroy her. Fears her tremendously, but will never show that.
- Jarilo:
- Best. Tauren. Ever.
- Abulos:
- Envious of his accomplishments, and thinks he doesn't deserve them. He is boring, and not too bright. Methodical but not imaginative. A bad mage.
- Natharia:
- A dangerous amateur that should not be allowed to teach.
- Chrysojin:
- Adores his magical aura. One of the few people to truly beat her. Has a major crush on him.
- Aishling:
- A respected collegue.
- Kirsteas:
- Wasted potential. Incredibly boring.
- Himo:
- A bit dumb, but good natured. Easy to tolerate.
- Krogon:
- That blade-master guy, right?
- Rargasha:
- Ticket to fame.
- Starlin:
- A bit of a dummy, but a sweet girl. Someone to vent to. A friend.

Paia Cuddlefork
Paia holds herself to standards she cannot possibly ever hope to meet. She is a perfectionist and enters into everything with the assumption that she has to succeed outright. This can feed into her casual arrogance, whereby she assumes herself to be superior to anyone who doesn't either meet or strive for these impossibly high standards. Failure weighs heavily on her as it causes her to question her self-image of crisp, perfect professionalism as well as reminding her of the serious moral failures in her past.
When thinking of the more distant past Paia is unhappy, she considers herself to have committed some heinous lapse in ethical conduct during the years during and immediately after the fall of Gnomeregan. Because of this and her desire to improve the world she is extremely devout in the light but feels it is not her place to lecture or proselytise, considering her service as a kind of penance.
Paia does not interact with people outside of Wild Tempest all that often so won't have opinions on most people.

- Areyah:
- Paia doesn't think about Areyah very much. She respects her exactly as much as Areyah's position demands but no-more. She generally sees the rear-admiral as being of sound mind, though possibly a tad unimaginative.
- Coppersocket:
- Paia sees Coppersocket as a fairly competent gnome with serious disabilities. She wants to "fix" Coppersocket but has no idea how to do this beyond healing her physical injuries and/or providing her with prosthetics. This causes her to feel slightly awkward when around Coppersocket.
- Helmut:
- Paia really does not like Helmut at all. She considers him to be a cruel and gloating bully. Paia also fears Helmut due to their shared past. She is very careful to always maintain facade of dull civility when interacting with him.
- Paozi:
- Paia quite likes Paozi from the short interactions she has had with him considering to be fairly wise, friendly old Pandaren who probably knows all manner of interesting things. Paia would love to know these interesting things herself. She probably does not even know his real name.
- Tuomas:
- Paia is fairly positive about Tuomas. She thinks he is brave and resourceful. She considers him to lack discipline, which is highly annoying but his fairly friendly interactions with her and sense of humour make up for that. She was somewhat upset when he departed the 157th.

Allonia Miral:
In her current situation, Allonia isn't all sure of what to make of herself really. Other than insisting on being something different from what she used to be and trying to build up a new life, she tries to do her best as officer of the Freelancers, still seeing their safety as her main responsibility. She takes this very seriously, and would like to think this is something she is good at.
She has many insecurities making her see herself as much too weak, some of them being the fact that she is worgen and how it affects her, and the little knowledge she has about her past self. She will never openly admit to any of these weaknesses though, and will take any opportunity to try and convince others of the contrary, as well as making herself stronger.
Generally she sees others with cautious mistrust, especially those who knew her in the past.

- Stig:
- Having known his father, Allonia was originally wary of Stig, and thought him a reckless fool. Lately though that has changed, and she's started seeing him as a more reliable member of their unit.
- Siegmund:
- In spite of her condition, Allonia knows somehow that Siegmund is one that possibly can be relied on, and she feels she owes him a lot since joining the Freelancers. Though his carelessness sometimes lets her down, she still respects him, even if being cautious.
- Rick:
- The one she is the closest to at the moment, and the only person she truly trusts. She sees him as a kind person, even if he at times has a hard time expressing himself, and wants to avoid troubling him as much as possible.
- Helmut:
- She thinks him very superficial and at times annoying, but appreciates him bringing information to the Freelancers.
- Arenfel:
- A somewhat familiar, grumpy old man.
- Wulfgnar:
- Only met him through having to heal him a couple of times, and passing him among the other DoL members, and is slightly curious about him. No direct dislike.
- Feral:
- Seems to smooth, from her sparse interaction with him.
- Tuomas:
- Having been told bits and pieces of what he did to her past self, she regards him with a great deal of caution and distrust, as well as a bit of confusion. She has only really seen him mouth off and chase tails though, also negatively impacting her impression of him.
- Iriel:
- She doesn't know her well, but from what she's seen, and from Siegmund's assurances about her, she sees her as a useful possible contact in the Regiment.

Re: (Out of Date) Characters - Self-View, and the view of other 2013-14
Eidan has suffered from identity issues and crisis since he was freed from the Lich King’s control; he’s often fretful and struggles to rationalize who and what he is, conflicted. He’s distanced himself further and further from anything ‘Scourge’ related, tending to live a double life almost. He does not talk about what he has to do to sate his addiction to suffering, and is on some level disgusted with what he is, what he’s done. At the same time he also believes that the Light is forgiving, and that it is not wrong for him to worship it, that if he continues to serve it and do good with his time, he’ll ultimately be forgiven. He’s also come to believe that he is not ‘as bad’ as other Death Knights, because his service was short, and his list of crimes relatively short in comparison; he served mainly to assault the Scarlets, and seeing as they were the ones to end him, he still feels justified on some level. He has an earnest desire to do good, however, and to help people wherever and however he can. He longs for acceptance and belonging, and this motivates him to put up with any abuse he gets for being what he cannot change. He tends to be quite humble, not viewing himself with any particular pride, though he does tend to believe he’s a ‘good person’, at least now. Still, there is always that little nagging voice…
Considering his so called ‘plight’ trying to win the hearts and minds of the citizens, he tends to be very open, gentle, and willing to accept others. He tries not to generalize, and gives most people a chance, regardless of their affiliation. He’s somewhat dismayed by all the negative forces active in the world, but tries very hard not to lose hope or patience with it. He wants to like people.
Update: That said, through recent events and his time spent with the Disciples, he's beginning to develop an actual distaste and prejudice towards other Death Knights.

- Sir Rae Wulfgnar:
- He has a great respect and even fondness for Sir Rae Wulfgnar. Though the man’s stubbornness can prove frustrating, he still admires Rae and is grateful to have earned his trust. He is most impressed by the man’s capacity for kindness, which has in turn won Eidan’s full trust and loyalty.
- Arenfel Serentyne:
- Another one who has earned Eidan’s trust and respect. He admires the man’s wisdom and ability to provide solutions to often confounding problems. He also has a slight fondness for Arenfel, definitely viewing him a bit as a fatherly role.
- Feral:
- ‘Derek Shepherd’ as he knows him, seems to be a man that no one could hate. In Eidan’s opinion, the man is simply too gentle and too good natured to do wrong. He enjoys the man’s company, anecdotes, and advice.
- Monrena Scaletail:
- In general, Eidan likes most Draenei! This is no exception; he likes Monrena well enough, thinks she is fairly sweet, and is of the opinion that she has fine taste in food.
- Tuomas:
- Eidan counts this worgen amongst his trusted friends; Tuomas has been a completely decent fellow since he first met him. He’s rather touched by Tuomas’ looking out for him in the past, and tends to look for Tuomas first when needing a guardsman he can trust. He is also of the more secret opinion that Tuomas is one of the more competent guards. He definitely misses this Worgen, having come to count him as one of his closest friends and confidants.
- Helmut Spoon:
- At first he found Helmut to be friendly enough, and quite open. By instinct, he can’t help being ever so slightly suspicious of or nervous around a Spymaster, but he trusts servants of the kingdom. He's more recently come to be more wary of the gnome as he usually tends to bring up awkward conversation topics, however. He doesn't agree with Helmut's assessment that he should embrace his true 'potential' as a Death Knight, and finds this pressure a bit of a strain on a tentative friendship.
- Stig:
- He finds Stig to be a friendly enough fellow, and can’t help being a little amused and concerned at once by how often the young man ends up at the clinic.
- Anne Shieldheart:
- Eidan likes Anne well enough, probably more than she likes him, as they have had some tension before between them because of his faith and state as an Undead. He has great respect for her however, for daring to show humility, respect, and compassion by tolerating him and his beliefs, and speaking to him like a person rather than a third-rate citizen. At times she's even been a willing ear and an aid to him despite what he is, something Eidan won't soon forget or take for granted. He believes her to be perhaps one of the Disciples that is the most stringently set in her ways and the most likely to stick to her principles, for better or worse. Eidan fears he'll never win her trust, though he'd very much like to.
- Susan Earlstead:
- He sees Susan as a sister, both in the traditional sense, and in the sense of faith. A young paladin, still bright eyed and innocent, if cocky at times, certainly not a sin. A bit like himself in life, perhaps, which fuels him with a protective side. At first she looked to him with fear, which always pains Eidan to see, though it perhaps also encouraged him even more to try and prove himself and befriend her. Being called 'brother' by Susan was definitely one of the highlights of his recent experiences.
- Sir Beladon Indarys:
- At first Eidan's view of Beladon was somewhat tainted, only really viewing the High Chaplain through the eyes of others or at a distance. He has always regarded the man with a bit of fear, in light of his powerful aura and clear stance on the Undead. While he had some respect and gratitude towards the man for allowing Eidan to follow the Disciples with their missions and such, he felt at first that his presence was only tolerated because it was 'useful', and that he was viewed more as a resource than a person. Not something he held a grudge for, but it still prevented him from feeling any real warmth towards the man.
More recently, Eidan and Beladon developed a mutual respect and understanding, though still bearing the knowledge that Beladon would end him should the alliance with the Ebon Blade ever be broken. Even more recently however he's become much more familiar with the man and his history, and has become legitimately fond of the man. Though he never really expects such to be returned, he considers Beladon a brother, would readily follow out his orders, and has been grateful for his advice and acceptance.
- Lavian 'Clara' Dawson:
- From the start Eidan has had a conflicted relationship with Lavian. Always a little awkward and wary of other Death Knights at first, he was frustrated at first when she urged him to put aside his principles and train his abilities so that he could better protect his loved ones, a worthy reason. He respects her however, and he even trusted her despite the insinuations and pressure from others, finding her interest in him to be more of a motherly, protective nature than anything insidious. Lately Eidan has grown frustrated with other Death Knights in general however, and since Lavian revealed to the Disciples his secret training sessions, he feels a breach of trust has occurred. He's uncertain about Lavian at current, time will tell if the breach will mend or rift further apart.
- Iriel Silversong:
- Iriel has always been a friend to the clinic! They've had a mutually beneficial relationship in that way, helping each other out. On a more personal level however, Iriel is simply a good friend. Eidan trusts her and is grateful for her kind nature. She's friendly, funny, and loyal. She's seen him at his worst, but remains a true friend, and has always been willing to help him out in a tight spot, which will not soon be forgotten.

Vaell
He views himself as superior to most people. If you can't wield magic, you're not on par with Vaell. He thinks he has evolved beyond others because of his magical training - that being said, he's incredibly insecure around strong characters. If you're intimidating and he doesn't have anyone to back him up, he'll back down... That being said, he is also naive (though he'd said otherwise) and wouldn't quite understand if someone was mocking or attempting to intimidate him. He truly believes the majority people are jealous of his capabilities and tries to blot out those who clearly surpass him in skill. He honestly believes he'll achieve greatness and perhaps learn the secret of eternal life.
Will post to clarify when I update these, only doing opinions on those who have posted to avoid missing anyone out:
I decided to put some IC background to mine:
Vaell is lying in bed, trying to count sheep to go to sleep. It doesn't work. Suddenly, (your character) crops into his mind...

Vaell is lying in bed, trying to count sheep to go to sleep. It doesn't work. Suddenly, (your character) crops into his mind...
- Coppersocket:
- Green. Why always green? What does she even do? Who even is she? She speaks, but all I can think about is the green. Perhaps it is an invisibility suit against colourblind folk? Are there many colourblind gnomes? I shall have to conduct a survey on the morrow.
- Wulfgnar:
- I could take him. One on one, in a fight. Though, I'd have to find a way for him to put his shield aside. And that mace. And that armour. And have him gagged. Perhaps I'll fight him in the nude. On second thought... That man is quite the sausage hounder. He does have splendid facial hair though. I wish he wasn't so pious, religion is so passé.
- Helmut:
- I wonder who taught him to be so sneaky. I thought he was a little boy with a head inflation disorder the first time I saw him; I must advise him to neaten his facial hair. I wish I had a gnome companion. Maybe when he retires, I'll inquire to what he'll cost to keep. I'm sure he's house trained. I could make him dance to my flute.
*Vaell claps in excitement*
- Feral:
- Oh, Feral. Sweet Feral. Such an innocent fellow. Reliant, friendly and refers to be in fancy nicknames. What more do you need in a pal? Well, perhaps greater hygiene. He should trim that fur of his. What would a shaven worgen look like? I'm sure he'll show me for the right price.
- Monrena:
- Blimey! Why has that thing come to mind? Oh, by the light, I'll have nightmares! I need to stop consuming cheese before I nap-nap.
*Vaell folds the covers under his feet, so they have no way of popping out*
- Iriel:
- She's probably doing something to embarass Arenfel and I as we speak. Sleeping with a whole band of outlaws, no doubt. How am I meant to play the big brother if she dates men who are physically larger than I am? I can't use magic to defeat them. Not because I'm not able to, because I could. I could kill... lots of men with magic. A score, no less! I just don't want to. That's it. I don't want to. She thinks she's so much better than me but she's not. She has won most of our battles, but I'll win the war. I'll need to be tactical - maybe, when she's finally pregnant, I'll swoop in and attack. It wouldn't be dishonourable, it's tactics. Tactics can't be dishonourable or else no one would perform them.
- Siegmund:
- I think he fancies me. He always glances at me and smiles, even when I'm being deadly serious. A capable man but I'm afraid I cannot produce offspring. Maybe I'll set him up with Iriel. A fine suitor. Oh wait, no, he has that wolf-plague. He's intelligent, though. And swift. One might even say dreamy... If one were into that. I'd reckon all of those Freelancers have a thing for me.
- Drustai:
- More nightmares? This is as bad as the Monrena thoughts. Worse, even. I keep telling everyone that we should lock her away but nooooo! "Drustai is our friend." "Drustai is so smart" "Drustai is so strong" - well, if she's so great, why's she dead? Ha! I'd say it to her face but... I'm not that rude. That's what it comes down to. I'm just polite. That's why I never insult her to her face. She knows I could best her, that's why she insults me. She's jealous!
- Areyah:
- What happened when Areyah last smiled? The Maelstrom! Miserable, old and ill tempered all in one jest; I'll have Feral spread that one around. She likes me, after all. I cannot tarnish my reputation with the nobles. She stills thinks I'm the wisest of the magi - why else would she have begged me to stay as the Minister? She begged, didn't she? Of course she did. If looks could kill, she'd have committed genocide.
- Paozi:
- *Vaell hums a tune to his song*
Jolly, little, fat bear,
Sat on your boat without a care,
Hairy, frisky, podgy bear,
Couldn't fit in any chair,
White-black, chunky bear,
Erm... something something pear!
What a charming fellow.
- Arenfel:
- The next time I see him, maybe I'll call him dad. I'd imagine he doesn't have long left. What a legacy to leave behind... Archmage, renowned throughout two Kingdoms, countless heroic encounters... If only he knew how much he inspired me. It's a shame he won't be around to see my future discoveries. I do hope he leaves everything in his will to me. That bloody sister of mine doesn't deserve it. I was always Arenfel's best student. Perhaps I'll impregnate both of the Starwhispers before he pops his cork. I'll name one Aren and the other Fel. Wait, no. Not Fel. Vaell Juniour. I do love that old man.
- Ralegh:
- He thinks he's so great with his ridiculous wall strategy. Well, the next time you send me there, I'll turn it into a mirror, Johnathan. I'll stare right back at you.
