[H] In the Shadows (Rogues Only)

Im looking to start a Rogue only horde guild focusing on stealth, reconisance and a whole load of other sneaky stuff. Just wanted to know if anyone was interested or had any suggestions or feedback on this.

Isn't the Vile thorn much like that, then again i don't play much at horde so *shrug*

Theres probably some In-joke nobody on horde is aware of buried in there, but Vile Thorn is very definatly an RP guild.

Where else would there be apoint in having a rogue-only guild?

The joke is that because Vile Thorn kills Alliance RPers without warning them beforehand, they're more gankers than RPers. It's a fairly common line of thought nowadays that RP-PvP only happens when pre-arranged.

Corpse camping Alliance roleplayers whom are in RP gear does qualify you as a ganker, though.

And that, not an "in-joke", is what they also do.

It's not "just" un-warned one time kill.

Regardless of if Alliance can hack the "PvP" part of the server tag or not... they are an RP guild and RP precisely this kind of thing.

They also have a rule against corpsecamping; if you don't put up a fight after getting killed once they should move on and let you be, and when I've ran into them they have sticked to that rule. If they don't, I suggest you bring it up with an officer or GM, Arli is a reasonable person from what I've experienced.

Does that stop others from trying it too? They might have their own twist to it.

Or are the monoply on what you may do, and who may do what?

It was Arli and two others doing it. I was level 87 for starters, my friend was 90, we both were in RP gear for most of the time, we did try to survive, but we didn't fight back. My friend did her best though once the started corpse camping us, 'cause enough is enough and if they're doing that you do tend to try fight back.

But since it was Arli doing it, I just didn't feel the need to report it to him either, as I'm sure he was perfectly aware of his own actions, so why notify him?

If that's the way they want to roll, by all means do so. I'm not complaining, I simply said that they do more than you claim, a heads up, if you will.

It's not my guild or my reputation, it's theirs, so they're also more than allowed to do what they want. ^^

Well then I'll take my words back, a guild should follow a rule they've themselves set in place or just stop claiming they have one in the first place when it only exists in word. Suppose I'll stop advocating them, then. I just wanted to point out their existence in case the OP didn't know of the guild.

But to be on-topic: I think the concept is a good one though maybe a bit limited, might be not many will join. But it does have good possibilities in terms of inter-guild RP and storylines, gathering info on guilds and selling it to their enemies, pitting them against each other etc. You should have a good amount of action with all that!

Jup, Vile Thorn, i suggest speaking with them and see if you want to join them, before starting up a similar thing.

I would like specifics please as unless in a wpvp raid or they fight back, we kill and move on. That is our rp.

Just to clarify, we will kill and camp those in known wpvp guilds such as blp since they deserve a taste of their own medicine. Else ress and run and we leave you alone.

Good luck with the guild, we only take rpers who pvp.
