Northern RP for the unguilded

For those who'd like to try RP in the North but either don't want to join a guild or can't find a guild they or their character fits into, or they don't plan on staying permanently, there are two projects starting soon that might be of interest:

For travellers
There'll be a tavern opening inside the Aerie Peak fortress, welcoming all travellers and adventurers as long as they don't cause trouble. There are many details right now because it's still in planning, but it should be open within the next two months if all goes well, and there'll be IC posters and OOC advertisement for it. There will probably also be an opening event.

For fighters
The Northern council (this will be proposed, along with a few other ideas. Can't promise it'll happen) will be setting up some form of loose group or team of individual fighters, travellers, mercenaries, or anyone else who wants to fight for the North without being a part of one of the guilds. This also applies to Ebon death knights, and any other lone-wolf types who want to fight. If this does go ahead, you'll be able to speak to me any time after the 18th January and we'll work something out.

Ahh, cool. If I find myself up that way again it'll be interesting to look forward to, as I did ICly stay a night in Aerie Peak and hung out in your place for a bit up north.

If enough consistent RP turns up with fighting scourge/corruption etc up north I may make more frequent visits. Wouldn't mind seeing druids working alongside Ebons in the field, and the like

Raenmar, Arathorians, dwarves, and whoever else comprises of Northern RP.

The Kingdom of Lordaeron is assembling a relatively 'large' patrol to take place tomorrow evening round 9pm. We'll set off from Tarren Mill at 9 with whoever attends, if you'd like to potentially see combat then make events/functions that night in and around Stromgarde + Refuge Point.

We will engage if we see enemies and the situation looks like it is to our advantage. (Numerical superiority, an ambush etc)

Wild Tempest is moving base to Aerie Peak this weekend.

A Horde patrol will soon be heading into the Highlands. Those currently stationed their IC from the Alliance side and if looking for some battle should conveniently find themselves online at around fifteen past nine.

The patrol will take place all the way into Stromgarde as it is currently under occupation.

Did you discuss anything with the organising officers in KoS? Because our campaign begins on Friday.

It was the first event of many, I assume (I'm not the one arranging anything) you'd have been contacted once the gathering of guilds takes place. This was more of a force gathering of our own.

As for Seiken's post, I've no idea what you're on about.

This isn't the campaign. Stromgarde as has been stated is under Horde control, we're merely enjoying what is ours while its ours!

I think Seiken means you should gank us in a fury of butthurt rage.

Right. To stave off any potential drama, I will simply say this. Vangrel and I have spoken about this and it's all fine and gravey untill we march our sexy asses up north and kick those smelly deadies out of our homes.
