No, not compatible.

CK2+ changes (just listing major)

-Reworked balance so that large realms with weak crown authority (*stares at HRE and France*) can only call on small armies in offensive (and internal wars). So, say, if you rebel against ze Kaiser he will wield about 10k stacks as opposed to 40k. However, if silly Fatimids call a jihad on HRE ze Kaiser will him them hard.

-Reworked the way Empires are formed, there are a lot more empires but they are all titular instead of De Jure

-Balances changes to armies and provinces

-More realistic HRE (Kaiser needs to be crowned by pope to be fully recognized)

-Mercenaries and holy orders for non-christians/muslims

...but I've been playing with mod so much, that I don't even KNOW what original feels like Very Happy

Thanks. I might go install it for my next game after the one I am doing ends. Is there a mod that lets you alter the names of kingdoms? If we are going to not follow history anyway...

I am afraid my Dutch Culture Resurrection Plot is going to fail. Only Holland, West Friesland, Loon and Yperen have the Dutch culture.. I cannot gain control any of them and they are under german rulers that will banish the Dutch culture :<

So what're your favorite dynasties to play as?

Mine tends to be the House of Anjou but I also like the House of Luxembourg, and of course the Von Habsburgs.

Also... The HRE just, somehow, swallowed the WHOLE of Hungary. I think some vassal of the kaiser inherited the throne and remained a vassal thereby bringing Hungary into the HRE (this is in my Anjou game).

I typically design my own dynasties, I care not for the Historically accurate ones!

I might try to get an Orange-Nassau dynasty, but that would be impossible as you cannot have two dynasties merge in to a new one with the merged name, right?

No, you can't. I do think, however, that there's a Nassau dynasty (yes, the actual historical one) already in game. You need to find this guy, or his son:

That is to say, this guy:

Whenever I am at war with the Kaiser (his power is crumbling, lowest crown laws, consistent wars to put other people on the throne) I get the indication that the culture in my demesne changes to Dutch.. So I just need to dispose of mein Kaiser I geuss.

I cannot find anyone who could be seen as of Nassau, maybe they are all dead, I did see someone who had d'Orange as family name. I think they are either a Barons family, or maybe not even that.

Playing as Nubia atm. A very interessting game. With HRE and ERE blobbing enormously and me rising in their shadow. My goal: claim byzantine throne and unite the roman empire, as a nubian miaphysite. Just managed to conquer Antioch from the feeble Basileus. Which gives me 3 out of 5 pentarchies. Go Miaphysites!

PS: Somebody should make a WoW Defias Brotherhood mod.

I suggested something similar.

"Teldrassil war for Dréfurion's claim on Quel'thalas"

It would be glorious.

Teldrassil will be unplayable, as it is a theocracy. Enatic Open Elective. And Drefurion got no claim on Quel'thalas, is he a relative of Kael'thas?

There is no pope however and therefore the laws preventing Catholic on Catholic war would not exist either.

And no king in WoW seems to have Divine right, apart from Elune maybe but she isnt a Queen and isnt really incharge of herself let alone her nation.

Without Divine right, Might is right! /carves a bloody path to the Throne of Lordaeron.

Dréfurion will have claim made after he: "It is said Dréfurion has united the Quel'dorei and is moving towards Darnassus!

A fine tale!"

Descision: form the Ecumenical Anethionean Church of the Holy Light
Requirement: control of the Cathedral of Light, Northshire Abbey, Tyr's Hand Abbey and Cathedral of Stratholme. Direct controllers are Anethionean.
Results: Three Virtues become heresy of Anethionism. All rulers are given a chance to convert (or face almost certain death)

It's fairly self-explinatory, just click on stuff, read the short hints and you should be well on your way!

The intro is rubish :p

First thing is to set up your advisers There is a toggle for them, get them working.

Oh and get married/get your sons married, there is a panel for available women.

And finally Make sure your kings lands are ok, dont be over your limit or under it.

That he's of your family, your very direct family has slightly brighter blobs, more distant family members (or kinsmen) have darker slightly smaller blobs.
