Re: The Men of The North
Thanks guys! Nothings set in stone at the moment, probably gonna alter the gods a bit to make them more believable to lore: or at least show possible evolutionary steps from the canon bits. What's important at the moment is getting people involved and setting the general tone!

Totally approve of this, Orthur will find you all fascinating! Hopefully this all will give a well needed bump to Northern/Arathorian/Tribal RP, in Arathi and Northrend. Please work with us on this, we are after all, your closest Human Cousins! Who better to teach and guide you into the Alliance than us?
A note on your theology however, as much as I love the Druidic Aspect-esque Deities, I would love to see atleast some Ancestral Worship incorporated.

Bump
Already loving the prospect and concept already, and I've only taken a small skim over the knowledge posted, yet it seems so in tune with the context of Northrend.
Would happily create another character for this.

Of course! I'm more then happy to get roleplaying with the north.. well south (To Northrend) people! And Ancestors are treated like lesser gods, talk about in stories, heard of in songs of great battles ages past.
For Example
Ulga The Red, a warrior ' queen. ' who single-handedl slew Barroc The Vile, a humongous storm giant that had been terrorizing the towns and villages of her people. The story goes she tricked Barroc into marrying her and cleave his head off at the reception. Some debate if he was even a giant at all? or rather just a ruthless bandit lord who happened to be exceptionally tall.
Appearance traits
All Northborn tend to be taller then southern humans, fairer of skin with the most common hair colours being light blonde, red and black. Of course their are exceptions to these rules, a rather short boy is born into a family notorious for being warriors and berserkers. He is bullied as a child and nicknamed ' Milk drinker. ', this however fuel his rage and he earns the title Edervic The Mad, after becoming the most formidable and unstoppable ball of blood-letting on the field of battle!
Milk drinker: Either a particularly weak person, be it emotionally or physically, sometimes even a derogative term for non-northborn. Implies they never left their mother's teet.

Due to the limitations of Tongues, and the possibilities it could bring whilst roleplaying with Kingdom of Stormgarde. I was thinking Kalimag may be a useful language for us to speak, it has obvious ties with elements and the more spiritual nature of what were trying to achieve here. Thoughts?

We commune mostly with the spirits of the dead, and not the elemental spirits, very few would be able to speak Kalimag. (Of KoS, atleast.)

Indeed. I'm just trying to think of the most logical language that would be used, I'm gonna go with Kalimag or Vrykul. But it's just looking at the limitations of Tongues and seeing what would be the most comfortable fit. Common just doesn't make much sense considering they were a very isolated people, wary of outsiders and even more paranoid about anything that wasn't human.

I take it Vrykul is not among tongues?

Not so strange. Vrykul is an actual language, and it hasn't been developed as far as the other playable races.
We can play druids, so we get animal "languages", which are easy to compose. Vrykul would need some private person to make up an entire language and add it to tongues. Sorta. :p

Since when did animals have language? If a druid wants to talk! he/she can shift to caster form! /shakefist
Anyway, I may attempt to jig around the programming, or find another program that could help me write Vrykul. But if it's gonna be easier, I may stick with Kalimag.

That's indeed a possibility, it's also possible for just to just put [Vrykul]: at the start of every sentence: wouldn't mean much effort for me, i'm an obscenely quick typer!, But my main focus is getting more people rolling the Northblud's first!

THINGS CHANGE, STOP LIVING IN THE PAST!
But I remain true to my word: er... to an extent. You are welcome to be from Northrend: lived in the same village, to be treated equal as -if- you were in the guild. But do as you please.
I chose to create the guild for the sake of organisation. Sue me.

Eww, Kalimag. No, no. D; Language of the literal Elements is not the Tongue of any Race, all be them as old as the Vrykul.

Hanniger and Lexgrad are available to discuss ideas for the clan, In-game! Whilst I'll be available on the forums!

Re: The Men of The North
Just curious, the KoS allow both gnomes a d dwarves amongst them, is it the same with this, Vec? Or strictly human?
...wandering cause I love RPing small races but love the idea, still maybe I'll make my first human!
