I put a very short description in current info because it is useful for others who approach him and this has never been a problem. I don't read it when people have 3 paragraphs, but if it is like 50 words it can improve rp.

You find out what people look like ICly? That doesn't really make any sense. For example, Kyven - my guard character - has chiseled good looks, not a single bit of grease in his hair and pearl white teeth. I put about that much description in his current info because people would notice it as soon as they saw the char, not from talking to him. It has been responded to by female characters blushing around him or males trying to insult him before even speaking to them.

Me too, but only when what I must desribe is very temporary(like a new cut/wound, a stain, or something similar). I understand the current box of trp sometimes gets overused, but that's mostly 'cause people usually aren't bothered to get to the description tab(I'm guilty of this myself). I think a sort of middle ground can be found. A short description in the current with some highlights(like important smells or perfumes, noticeable huge scars, magical auras, and ofc the 'current' things), while in the description a more precise and specific description of the char. I like more MRP, it's more natural to the in-game tabs, but TRP works both ways, MRP doesn't.

hmm seems i re awoke a discussion is this not supposed to be a list of working/broken addons rarther ythan a discussion over a spesific addon? II was asking as I needed to know if others are having probs with there spy addon crashing there game?

Actually, if they use MRP, they wouldn't. Y'see, MRP shows about 10 words of your 50 word description, so most of it is cut off. It's even worse when people ignore that completely, and don't even bother copying their description from the "Currently" tab to the "Description" one.

Lets you transmog gear from your void storage, without having to remove gear from void storage first. This is a God-send for us packrats.

I think this thread really lacks these. Addons that you can play with buddies and other things that directly interacts with other people with the same addon.
Now, not talking interact like TRP.

Ok, from an organizational and administrational standpoint.
That thing is fucking fantastic.
Far better than just having a dedicated chat that can be dropped, lost, and trolled if it goes out.

It defeats the purpose of guilds, for a guild such as TTH it's perfect, specifically because we have so many branches and will be extending them across non-TTH dwarves/gnomes as well.

But yeah, it kills all necessity to be in any certain RP guild which is it's own debate.

Hi all, Im a complete novice to all this and am really confused about these addons, Ive downloaded RP2 and GHI but I can't see any real use in them? I obviously must be using them wrong so any help that you could give would be great

Actually, GHI is only really useful at certain times. It's more often than not just  collecting dust. But very handy when you actually need it.
As for TRP2- It's nice to have as it helps you get a better view of if people are still rping under the same name they have over their head- or if they ever were, at all. It also can feed you minor information about a character's appearance that may be vital. More often than not a lot of people add stuff that really isn't important.

For TRP2 I actually liked having all those sliding bars with different characteristics when I made my first RP toon. Helped me with those details I hadn't really sorted out. Probably wouldn't hurt if I took that round with my current ones either.

Gryphonheart Groups is just awesome for Si:7 RP, plus GHI as I've spent many an hour creating Si:7 operative/agent/r&d dept armory crates that include character buffs and my ultimate weapon against the enemies of the state......Leatherdorf multitool!

Yes, I can make the weapons, but I cant equip them? Or do they just show as equipped to whoever else has the addon? Or everyone? Or knowone? :/ I'm starting to get the hang of TRP2, and I'm finding the features pretty cool now Really helped me to start to piece together my character. Downloaded a few more and started getting into them too. Gatherer, Prat and Notebook and they're all really groovy, but I just can't figure out GHI?? :/

GHI items you can't equip like ingame weapons or clothes sadly but it's generally used for like notes/books, magical items you craft so you remember what you got (And then just find a item that you think would fit it from the game), things that make music (To other ghi users), when you click it they can blur the screen so drugs have been a thing to do with Ghi, potions, random emotes, buffs/debufs.

It gives you trivia questions that are corresponding upon your location, making you have to find the answer within the place you're currently in. Quite cool really.

Two things: Three, I mean.
1. Does Trp2 work properly nowadays?

2. "Gnome Licker": A tiny addon that counts the number of gnomes licked.

3. I get a lot of errors with Gryphonheart items these days. Anyone experienced any more of that/got any fixes/explanations?

Trp2 works great now. Been updated.
