This takes place a year past when Led and Annie found that the Blade had burned down, and Led was in the midst of signing up for the army (since he was in The Alliance Watch and an army man long past) and Annie demanded to go with him. And not ever being in the army, Ledgic had to lie about her record, and she got more than she bargained for...

'Is there anyone who can scout this fuckin' better 'n me?' she asked, her hands on her hips. She had been trying not to do that; she was a soldier of Stormwind, or at least she was pretending to be one.

The man in front of her was her Ledgic, of course, but as he looked at her with steely eyes, she suddenly shifted her hands down to her sides. It might be that they were in private, for once of a thousand moments on this bloody, rocky... she couldn't describe it. The very air here choked out breath like nothing she had never known, not in her thirty years of running.

'This ain' Stormwin' Annie. Yer fuckin' listenin' t'me.'

She growled quietly in her throat, and listened. Ledgic was leading this company, and what's more, he was right.
