It's effectively what I have been doing on my (highborne) mage Rhenya already, though the other folks involved have been slacking on their mages for a while. I'd definitely be interested :p

The only barrier for Hordes would be the language itself... If we can find a way to bypass that, I believe it becomes doable.

Real ID + Someone learning the other one's language. With belfies its easy, pretty much all belves should be able to speak common to some degree, I mean they where part of the human alliance a lot longer then they where horde...

I've always considered Saevir as knowing common (if a bit rusty at it, however, due to lack of use), so I'd just need someone to translate OOCly, but like it was said, realID and IM programs can help with that.

Yes, and there is the option of creating lvl 1 alts and summon them to the place and use rp addons to least have a tooltip about what they are. As translating walls of emotes might be difficult. I myself have no experience in such so cant say

Well, I believe I need to clarify 2 things :p

Any magic study is welcome. It does not matter what magic school youre interested in, as long as it is you who masters it, and not the other way around. So if you prefer the darker side of magic, worry not. As long as you are the top controller, then it means you are still in the right path. This adds more variety to this society and, as such, more knowledge paths! Its a win/win. Who are we to judge an individual's objective when we all have messed up goals?

Also, I suggested the presence of horde members to actually reinforce the idea of knowledge pursuit. It would not matter which side of the war you were, as the society would then have influence on both sides. In fact, it would add up to the "mundane" and "trivial" struggle of the common folk, while we, enlightened individuals, look for ways to further improve ourselves and our own knowledge of magic, through means that are not commonly acceptable! After all, if one's goal is the ultimate knowledge, the achievement of perfection in magic, it doesnt matter the physical individuals youre working with, but the minds youre working with.

At least this is how I see it! Feel free to point out where my thoughts go wrong

Note: I personally think it would actually enrich the rp capabilities, while creating something for horde players too - much like a "sanctuary" place like shatt or dalaran
