I got dibs on a mock section! \o/ By the one and only Pirate Queen!

Being unable to play WoW for the time being, I'm sure that I could support this brilliant concept by writing a short story every week. : )

Name suggestions anyone? For this fine publication.

You pay them a few coppers and well, the GHI paper on AD used to be like 30 pages long? With advertisement, fun columns, guild recruitment, politcal stories etc etc

I like this idea of having the newspaper Ingame. Not all are signed on these forums so the newspaper would get more readers this way, by being "public". This could even motivate and encourage new roleplayers who are unsure where they could find roleplaying

Besides, it would be awesome to be able to speak about the events writen in the newspaper ic

(So....we have the concept. LF name and those selected ones to write!
(And about payment....I would myself be ready to support this project with several thousands of gold, if it would make this happen)

I wouldn't mind to write as "someone who's always heading to cultism crime-scenes" and writes reports about those situations. It wouldn't be an existing character ingame really, but some guy that would exist "lorewise", if that makes sense.

This obviously due to my own guild being a cult, but other random cultists/cults could naturally contact me about it as well. Yea, sign me up!

What I wouldnt mind doing are some ic interviews, get statements ect... but I got enough on my plate really If a couple of others are up for this it could add a touch of win.

Idea.

A weekly newspaper has eight content/sections. (Well, most of them...)

News, Sports, Family, Features/Reviews, Letters to the editors/Editorial pages, Public Records/Accidents, Public notice/Announcements and ofc, Advertisements.

What I suggest is a weekly newspaper with these sections, just renamed...

News, Events, Royalty/Nobles,(Just for you, Braiden.) Fashion, Letters from the People. Letters from the Council. Accidents and ofc, Advertisements.

As for the roles (From what I can gather in the posted topics), Kat would do the layout, Mori on the "Letters from the People" (Because it's mocking and it's fun. ;D), Braiden on Fashion and Royality, while Timna, Me, Tso, Tsurana, Corjwin and Lex could handle/write the rest, along with adding to the other sections if wanted, and if the Cartel is bored, could handle the In-Game newspaper! (Cheap Labor FTW.)

As I tried to say three times... Yay for my section! Would work completely. Morinth picking out her favourites, mocking the shit out of them. She'd occasionally get along a serious message from someone if she deemed it worthy. \o/ Mail could be PM'd to me here, since I'm not allowed my neutral status in-game. x)

I'll help out, definitely. I tend to keep an eye on most "accidents" happening. I'll supply you guys with info!

On the offhand, maybe getting a grammar-nazi to read it over would be a good idea before throwing it away into a newspaper... And besides, everything goes, just like today's newspaper.

Need someone to write about the news from Ironforge/Khaz'Modan? And if there is no 'real' news. Make something up, a wee story from the locals of Kharanos for example?

I think we need a Charity section - where we detail all the purely charitable cases, like the Soup Kitchen, where to find healers or medics who are both able and cheap, and a weekly recipe for some sort of potion or elixir or cure that has been discovered and tested before publishing. Kinda like a cooking column, but with more explosive results.
