This shall be a thread to keep images of the characters who appear in my stories, to provide more imagery especially for some of the secondary/non-RP characters who end up in my writing. (As I'm not much of an artist, most will be nicked from the internet.)

Lady Helena Andural

Mentioned in A Baying of Hounds and The September Bride.

The mother of Dorian and Amirah Andural, Lady Helena was a daughter of the Aislinghall family of Andorhal. At first, her marriage to Lord Medryn Andural of Alterac was little to her liking, as although Medryn was a man both wise and just, the mountains of Alterac seemed harsh and remote to her. She would often look out over the windswept valleys and wish for the warmth and bustle of the city of Andorhal.

When the lords of Alterac betrayed the Alliance, the loyal Andural household fled to the capital of Lordaeron, where they dwelt under the protection of Helena's brother Cedric, knight of the Silver Hand. Lady Helena's heart was glad that she was once again in the land of her birth, but the whisperings that her husband was an Alteracian traitor were an endless bitterness to her.

Dorian Andural

Mentioned in The Edge of the Knife and A Baying of Hounds.

The brother of Amirah and the heir to the lordship of House Andural, Dorian was a handsome, cunning man with an eye for women and a nose for politics. When Alterac betrayed the Alliance, Dorian chose to remain in Alterac rather than to flee with his family, believing that loyalty to Alterac was paramount. Although working among those nobles who soon became known as 'the Syndicate,' Dorian clung to the ideal of regaining his ruined lands and restoring his family's honour.

Betrayed and made outlaw by another Alteracian lord over the matter of a woman, Dorian fled into the mountains. There he fell in with ragged bandits, whom he soon formed into an organised band who, though outcast, managed to survive by hunting and stealing. Among these bandits came the young runaway Aniane, who became Dorian's lover.

Though in the end Dorian was murdered by the Syndicate, men he had once called allies, he is still remembered by the likes of Aniane, who clings to the handsome dirk with a red pommel-stone that once belonged to Dorian, and his sister Amirah, the last of the Andural family. He also has an illegitimate daughter, Aylarian, who was last seen working at the Smoking Blade in Stormwind.

Lady Amirah Andural

Born much more alike to her wiry father and brother than to her soft and graceful mother, Amirah was a child of the mountains in all ways, loving horses and hounds and learning the use of bow and sword. When Alterac fell before Stromgarde's armies, she fled to Lordaeron with her parents, but her heart was often with the mountains of her birth and with her brother who had stayed behind.

She grew up choosing the path of a lightwielder, following in the footsteps of her honourable uncle Cedric Aislinghall. Yet when Arthas Menethil, heir to the throne, returned corrupted from the north and brought with him a plague of undead on his own city and homeland, Amirah's courage failed her at the prospect of seeing everything she loved fall for a second time. She fled from her duty, and wandered as a sellsword for the next several years in the lands of Hillsbrad and Arathor, embittered, ashamed, and violently drunk.

Though she has regained some of her pride and purpose through her friendship with the young paladin Omanos Galenos and her recent marriage to Lord Elegost Dawnweaver of Arathor, Amirah remains a reserved and sarcastic woman, cherishing the unlikely dream that perhaps someday her children will be able to reclaim the Andural lands that were so beloved to her.

Rinnia Halvedir (pictured with Dorian Andural)

Born into the influential House Lioncrest of Alterac, Rinnia threw away her noble birthright and incurred the anger of her family in order to marry a wealthy but common landowner by the name of Halvedir. Soon after she wed, however, her husband was killed in a hunting accident. Too proud to return and beg forgiveness from her family, Rinnia kept up her husband's lands by herself.

Shortly thereafter war came to Alterac, and much of the country was destroyed at Stromgarde's hands. Though the Halvedir lands managed to escape direct destruction, Rinnia, like all the people of Alterac, fell on hard times. In the midst of her solitude, she met the young nobleman Dorian Andural, who was full of life and confidence. Rinnia fell pregnant from their time together, and though she never saw Dorian again, their child, Aylarian, was a glimmer of light in the cold, dark years that faced the woman and her country.

Though Rinnia succumbed to an illness born from the harsh life she ended up living, her daughter Aylarian survived and made her way to Stormwind.

Maximilian Landry

Featured in Going Home.

Master Maximilian Landry was an associate of Dorian Andural within the Syndicate, and the two men established a mutual respect, almost a friendship. Unknown to Dorian, however, Landry was a spy for Lordaeron reporting on the goings-on of the Syndicate nobles. After Dorian was murdered, when young Annie had no place to go, she turned to Landry to help her, knowing only that he was Dorian's friend. Landry did indeed help her to escape to Menethil and away from the clutches of the corrupt Alterac nobles. Over the next ten years, Landry, known to Annie simply as 'Max,' remained one of the few people that she would trust and care for.

After the death of his young daughter at the hands of Syndicate men who had discovered his identity, Landry went into hiding and re-emerged as an assistant clerk in Southshore, carrying intelligence from a distance and organising a small ring of Alliance spies within the Syndicate. He remained in this position until the destruction of Southshore at the hands of the Forsaken, and currently his whereabouts, if he is even alive, are unknown.

Rohwyn Aethelbrand

Featured in The Threshold.

Though only three and twenty, Rohwyn has seen much since she left the shelter of Northshire Abbey five years ago, seeking to understand and aid the suffering world as a novice priestess. She travelled as a mercenary with her first husband, the gruff yet kindly war veteran Serelath Althalar, using her Light and herb craft to patch up the wounds gained from fighting bears and bandits. Following Serelath's death, she worked as a field medic in the north, pledging her energy to safeguarding Hillsbrad, the last bastion of Lordaeron's - her father's - people, and eventually commanded the military company.

Though born of a humble family, Rohwyn has advanced to become a member of the Stormwind Council and spends much of her time on the business of the city. Still, she feels most at comfortable in front of a warm hearth with a mug of ale and in the company of honest, straightforward folk. The great loves of her life are now her husband Eselan and her son Aramus, and although she has a tendency to think too much and to prefer solitude too often, she retains at least some of the simple kindness and the interest in people that first led her from the abbey into the wider world.
