OOC: RP gear raids!

I personally tried this before without much luck, but I think that was due to lack of people knowing about it. So I will give it a go here again, now that we have these forums!

The rules will be as follow:

Allowance, If you are in a major roleplay guild, or a known roleplayer, you are allowed to sign up for the raids (I guess this is a given in these forums though, but I still wanted to post it).

Signing, write your name, class, speccs - On the character you intend to come as.
Note: Write the exact name, how it looks in game, else you might miss an invite. Also write your wishitem.

Wishitems, you write ONE item per instance (which means that, if we go for more then one instance in one night, you get one wishitem in each dungeon we enter). You write from whom it drops, and its name. If you do indeed have this as a wishitem, and it drops, you are guaranteed to get it. If however two or more people have wished for the same item, which is allowed, you roll between each others. If no one has wished an item that drops, everyone gets to roll for it.

Wishitems must be put up together with the sign to keep track!

Special loot such as mounts will not be allowed as wishitem. These will be raidrolled for according to the raid leaders list. (screens put up after each raid to show such)

Attendance, if you are attending a certain amount of raids to get your item, you are obligated to attend the equal amount of raids after you have what you want (simply so that we do not loose people once they have what they want). If this is not followed you will be blacklistend and not allowed to attend any other raids to come.

The raids I will be hosting, are for Alliance. Azuta, whom is going to add on this thread her raid-rules, will be hosting the Horde ones as usual.

As some of you may know, every friday night for the past few months (about 8 of them, actually) I have ventured into the depths of Blackrock Mountain with a selection of friends to smack good ol' Nefarian and Raggy around a little. The runs were started by the charming Neshkor, a.k.a. Bakur, and as he has left the game, I continued the tradition.

- What is this? (ib4 You... I remember you... In the mountai--- nvm.)

Every friday at 20:00 server time, we launch off into various old-school or "vanilla" raid instances like MC, BWL, AQ20/40 and the likes for greater glory and sexy RP gear!
Currently We run MC and BWL as our vanilla raids at 20:00, switching every week, and a rather random TBC raid at 22:00. What raid that is can be influenced by YOU! If you wanna do BT, please tell me and surely we can do it.

- Can I come?

Of course. If you're at least of the required level for the instance - 60 for vanilla and 70 for TBC - and attuned to the instances that require an attunement, you're sure to get a spot. We're especially looking for druids - I think there has been two runs during my history in doing this that druid items actually went to a druid, and not a vendor. Of course, friendly people of any class are welcome!

- Sweet! How do I sign up?

Send an in-game mail to Azuta, Yaku, Phelps or Neheda and I will invite you to the next raid on the in-game calendar. It's that simple!
If you know you're coming, accept the invite too - raid invs won't go out to "undecided" people! (And I don't think the automatic invite function takes "tentative" into account either. Switch your status before raid start if you know yer coming.)

- What about the rules?

1. Roll priority is RP > want-roll > DE / vendor. Want-rolls are for the lowbies, or people who just fancy carrying a certain item around in their inventory or bank until the next spring clean, RP and DE are quite obvious. The looting is usually very casual, we don't fret about purple pixels -too- much.

2. You get one dib per instance. Dibs can be a certain item, like [Left Bindings of the Windseeker], a tier set, or a set of items, like [Eternium Ore] or [Fiery Core]s for Thorium Brotherhood rep. People who attend the raids frequently get Senior status and higher priority on their dibs! If you really want to craft Thunderfury, run with us every week and become Senior and everything you need will be yours with 100% certainty.

3. Get attuned or get lost! So far the runs have been made with a small group of friends, and unattuned alts have simply been run through the attunement or summoned with a warlock. However, foreseeing at least a slight increase in attendance, I don't want to delay the raid by half an hour because someone didn't bother with attunement. If you're not attuned, you're not coming in. (Doesn't count for raids with no attunement, such as AQ40.)

4. Leave your e-peen at the instance door. So far, our runs have been a great success. The atmosphere is rather relaxed, a bit chaotic even at times. However, I do not tolerate people that run in front of the tanks while I'm distributing loot and try to solo Garr. I will not tolerate whiners, people who spam "heal plx", "summon plx" and other inane things, and class heroes that bash other people for making mistakes. We're here to have fun and get some sweet-lookin' RP gear. Have patience. Please.

Alliance raid to BT?

I propose and RP-gear raid to BT! I put myself in in disposal as a tank. I would preferably join on my druid Xîcha, and summon my warrior in for illidan, as I want the Bulwark of Azzinoth for him. Both are able to tank, but my druid is better geared.

*nods* Will sort a raid out for next weekend. Right now I'm far too sick to be able to guarantee I can hold a raid.

Xîcha, Feral Druid, tanking up to Illidan. Bons, Prot Warrior, tanking Illidan, as my wishitem is Bulwark of Azzinoth.´. I could also tank it all with Bons, but as the druid is better geared I prefer that.
