Kingdoms of Stormwind and Ironforge, as well as the remnants of Gilneas realize that this war is happening on many fronts, and the only way to over hope to overcome the Forsaken menace is by drawing away the support of their orcish allies. War on the Kalimdor front must be won! And for now, the Alliance rules the waves. Regiments and specialists from the Eastern Kingdom are sailing to the western Kalimdor to shatter the Horde in Feralas and Desolace.

Such a long naval journey cannot be undertaken in one go, however, and elven reinforcements must likewise embark on the ships. It is expected that the Stormwind&Ironforge Expeditionary Forces will arrive in Darnassus on the evening of the 28th and depart again, if the wind permits, on the 30th. Who knows how those soldiers will behave in the Elven capital, and even more, how the elven hosts will deal with the sudden invasion of foreigners after millennia of isolation.

Right! This is a set-up for three days of roleplay in Darnassus, effectively turning the place into a RP-hub. All guilds are invited to participate in this endeavor, as long as they have an IC reason to join this expedition. Individual role-players are also invited. The Circle of Darnassus and the elven guilds will provide their reaction to the invited, but unwelcome, guests, but it falls up to each individual role-player and each individual guild to enrich the role-play. This event is merely a set-up; it gives you all a setting and a story to RP around, but it falls up to you to act out your character's role and reaction in this situation Smile

The more you put it, the more everybody gets out!

I leave it up for every guild to arrange their own departure and arrival in Darnassus, be it by boat or by portal, at 20:00 or later in the evening. All the preparation-role-play you may wish is a nice bonus you can frame as a guild-event! Only bit of pre-RP that is directly organized is a MASS on thursday the 27th at 20:00 in the Cathedral of Light.

What of the RP-PvP in Desolace/Feralas? That part is still being discussed and we are open to suggestions and looking for those willing to organize and host it. Don't be afraid, speak up!

Monday the 17th, 20:00 Circle of Darnassus, now informed of the arrival of foreign troops, discusses how to best receive them (or make them feel especially unwelcome!)
Thursday the 27th, 20:00 Mass in the Cathedral of Light
Friday the 28th to Sunday the 30th A stop-over in Darnassus, each guild/character should arrange their own pre-RP and mode of arrival.

Interesting but unclear. Is the goal to have a PvP encounter in both Desolace and Feralas or just to go 'annoy' the Elves?

The goal is to have 3 days of RP in a setting different than Stormwind, enjoy cultural, casual, political and diplomatic interraction and then continue, for those who feel like it, to more militaristic RP Smile

Unwelcome? Well that certainly depends! These people are coming to help us smash the orcs, mmyes? Perhaps if they treated us with the same respect as anyone of their own race, if they restrain themselves from spraying arcane magic over every square inch they can see and keep their death knights well hidden, then maybe there won't be any problems.

...Not saying conflict RP can't be fun though, as long as people can keep it IC and refrain from calling us "cunt-eating lesbos" Wink
