Anyone watch this? Well I know quite a few people IRL and out of these forums who do but eh. Thoughts on Season three so far? Personally finding it to be decent for starters and just hope to god it won't drag on like the Marry-anne plot from Season 2 for those who watched it.

Whenever they speak Swedish, apart from Skarsgård, I cringe.

The swedish doesn't bother me. However thats because I am not swedish nor know the language so I just take it naturally. Also S3 EP2, it has a cameo appearance from one the big highlights from Season 2. I shall not say more.

- I like the fact the warewolves aren't like...Well you know worgen style warewolves? Humanoid shapes wolves basically. I approve of the shapeshifter style approach familiar to Sam's.

Wherewolves; Basicly a weaker version of Sam's shapeshifting? As he could in theory turn in to whatever he wants? Remember the Rhino? While they can only be wolves?

Agree and disagree. Agree on the "I hate what Twilight has done" and the "turned into romantic emos", but disagree on the "classical movie villains". I wholeheartedly agree that Twilight ruined the vampire genre and turned it into a something more hideous than "IT" from Stephen King. And I agree with Nayan, vampires 'were' far more than just villians, take for example "Nosferatu". >_<

True blood is not on tv at the moment because of the football. I do like the program and even got my bf to watch it because of the boobguarantee. I am just in the middle of first season so I know nothing really. =D

- It's about a world vampires came out of hiding to the public for the last 2-3 years in True Blood story time. So the existance of them are public knowledge and they are socially acceptable by some, and hated by others etc. However there are more than vampires in the series such as shapeshifters. Humans who can turn into animals basically[Not like OMG STRONG POWERFUL animals, but clones of normal ones such as dogs, owls etc]. And yes the sun burns them unlike the before-mentioned vampire movies. There's a political reign among the vampires just like humans such as there are sheriffs of each area, aswell as king and queens etc etc.
