I would be interested in setting up a maybe monthly event for all Alliance players to meet at changing location. So this would be a political event, but faction wide and also neutral/friendly towards Alliance would have a place at the convention.

I hope not to do this all alone, since it works better, if there are also others doing their part in organizing. I haven't yet got any time for the first one, since I think this needs some more preplanning, so that everyone can give ideas for the topics for example, so all could find this kind of recurring event interesting.

I think it should be free voice to all taking part as well.

Well the ic kick start for this could work like this.

Using the new SW Embassy send ic letter to have Alliance unite, and that would be the Alliance Convention ic reason. Also in preparation for the BfA, it would work for it in the long run. Ofc there will be needed some preparations and such, which could be a good point in topics.

I don't want this event to have a sole person ic to do it, it should be free voice with common understanding, and so it would not be anyone's char moving this forward. Like I would be joining it as Reyxor of The Ninth Company not as chairman (Council) or chancellor (Senate) manner. It would be needed to have some order, but I think we can work it at start at least without sole head of the event.

We could for example fix some general ic rules to handle the talks and turns, and at least see at start how it works in which way. Since it's for all Alliance and neutral orders, I don't want any character to have the spotlight in there, since it should be weighed evenly for all races and orders.

This is just my thought on it, so just giving my opinion, I hope to hear if anyone is interested also, and will see when we can get the first one scheduled. Sooner or later.

Like I said in other places, overall I think this is a good idea. I'm especially interested in the changing location as I'm quite sick of Stormwind for RP to be honest

I also agree that this shouldn't have a table of "high members" and no one character should have special roles or be in the spotlight like you say. However, there are still tasks such as choosing the new location, giving it some IC reasons and flavour each time, making sure everyone knows when it is etc. - basically organising it. So I would suggest we do this in rotation and each time at least one person is responsible for it - this would offer a lead role for literally anyone interested and also the opportunity to get more involved into the RP scene and make an impact.

Gott agree with Tudo though. Stormwind is the place for most IC interactions, so it would be nice to de-centralize a bit. Perhaps we could shift it about the various capitals or hit some of the aestheticly pleasing towns about the EK?

Otherwise, I'm fully on-board. This would facilitate a load of RP, should the attendance be diverse enough. I especially like the idea of having a place for neutral groups to send envoys, making it possible for even more organisation to get involved.

I think the first Alliance Convention could be organized at The Vault of Lights at Exodar, when it would show respect to the draenei and their role in defeating the Legion on Argus.

I think there could be held a speech by each and all who wish to do so, or just for the representatives of each order, which ever works better. After each speech there could be questions given to the speech giver every time a speech has been held.

This could fill the complete first event I think, since it might take a while. Ofc open for other ideas.
