[A] Wanted: Ship's Crew

Captain Reynard Ferrand is looking for able bodied men and women to join his crew. The Javelin, a three-masted carrack out of Boralus in Kul Tiras, is one of the fastest ships sailing the inner sea. Captain Ferrand and his crew are actively travelling the world, moving cargo and passengers around the place, taking vital messages to the far corners of the world.

If you are interested in RPing a member of the crew, let me know. I'm happy to say that you've been a crew for a number of years now, or we can RP out an interview to sign up to the crew. Whichever you prefer. Happy to take on alts too. Not really looking to make a Guild out of this as such but we could.
RP Opportunities
I'm about to put out a post looking for work for The Javelin, basically doing those things I mention above (shipping goods, moving passengers, delivering messages etc). I'm also thinking that the crew of the Javelin could go raiding [World PvP] - though we are not a pirate crew, there's nothing to stop us doing a bit of this if the interest is there.
Finally, Captain Reynard is also the Jack of Diamonds [unknown to anyone at all] so if joining a Crime Syndicate sounds interesting then being a member of the crew would give you a simple "in" for that venture.

Greetings!
Seeing as I'm (very likely) making my comeback to Alliance (and WoW RP in general) this could be just my cup of tea. My character knows his way around a boat, but I think the Crime Syndicate thing is way more down his alley.
I do have some leveling up I'd like to get clear of before I commit to aything though (can't stand not being max-level).

As I said, I'm not planning to make this a guild, but if you'd like to I'm also happy to (I've no guild at present). Also, if you're already in a guild, then no issues joining the crew regardless. Did you have a preference for already being a long standing member of the crew (retcon option) or to come along for an "interview"?
And an extra member of the crime syndicate will be greatly received! As I say, joining the crew of the Javelin is a great "in" for this.

Well, I'm currently in a guild, as the good men and women of my current guild (House of Yore) haven't kicked me even though I've inactive for months (appreciated!).
Regarding the other thing, my character has a past in smuggling, mostly down around Booty Bay and Gadgetzan, so maybe some kind of "old acquaintance"-thing could be in order? Or maybe a short stint in the crew? Just to hit the ground running? I wouldn't mind an interview though.

I have an idea - tell me if this fits/works for you:
Reynard has spent some time in the south, actually going up against the goblins of Booty Bay. I've also met and worked with a lot of smugglers. I also happen to be interested in making the use of such a ship soon. Could I seek you out, and we meet up and me ask for your help? This assumes that you're still a smuggler mind you - but perhaps that explains your absence from society (the server) for a while? Then when we've done one job together, perhaps you might be interested to leave your ship and come over to the Javelin - plus maybe the crime syndicate too. They are not indelibly linked, so you could join either or both.
Also, no need to change guild for either of these options.
