Re: [A-H] The Argent Tournament
.. I'm so joining this, even though Eve ain't a knight and risks breaking every bone in her body, this seems like a fun thing to partake in already. (Even though its heavy construction. ^^) Always wanted to do something like this! .. Sadly my original knight character was left behind on a server-switch, so Eve will have to do!

Re: [A-H] The Argent Tournament
I've made a calendar invite on this for the Horde using the copied invite list of The Horde Gathering.
It should bring it to general awareness. Also going to prod to someone bring it up during The Horde Gathering, that is a few days before the Tournament.

Re: [A-H] The Argent Tournament
Due to the fact, that it's Friday and there will be the Traders Branch in Stormwind, events on this day may be more casual than planned. We will see how many get there and decide.
Re: [A-H] The Argent Tournament
I'll be on hand to organise Horde side for any wishing to take part from that end

Do you have to sign up somewhere to participate in events or what? If you could explain a bit.

Re: [A-H] The Argent Tournament
On the Horde side we have used the in game calendar and Discord to inform GM's of it and they in turn are informing their own guild members, then closer to the time a reminder is posted in LFRP, and eventually, an invites announcement followed by directions from the organiser in raid chat.
I assume a similar system will take place on the Alliance

Added a poll.
Also, I'm very sorry for any disinformation or chaos that may have aroused during the event. I tried to do my best, but now I know that such must be supported, especially in terms of cross faction communication. I will be therefore using RP Connect for that purpose and check, how much can be achieved this way. It may have taken longer than expected, especially all the explanations (I know that something might have gone lost/confused).
I also apologise those who did not take part in the race for the lack of care. The Argent Crusade is yet a small guild, and we were unable to distribute tasks to different people. I hope that this will change and in the future each event and each RP space can be managed well.
To reply on Siegmund's comment: I'm sorry, I assumed that people are checking Events section of these forums, and that those who were invited to calendar event and were given the moderator status might spread it to others. I will make myself a list of all guilds and their active officers so this does not happen again.
If you have any feedback I'd gladly take it.

Re: [A-H] The Argent Tournament
I personally enjoyed the race around Northrend. Things were off to a slow start but that's to be expected with all the cross faction things and planing since I do remember the Argent Tournament that happened a few years back.
As for feedback I don't really have any complaints thowards the race itself at least was a hard thing to do, even i once had plans to do such a event but never got around to making riddles and all the preperations.
Few notes on some possibl improvements though. First one is very nitpicky but the name writing down could have joined the questions of name + who they represent/where they are from. Yes i know it's a small complaint, but sometimes every second to speed things up can help things run smoother.
Takes a great effort to make events like this happen so perhaps if you can find another guild or certain people who can actively help a bit. Kind of like you mentioned already least to keep people who aren't part of the event company. With a little planing maybe the person who hosted the trade event in Stormwind could relocate to the tournament grounds for that one day so that events and people are close, but no need to be in exactly the same spot, well it's just an idea whenever or not people would be up for it is another question.
And lastly the advertising of the event, now I can't really complain too much since I don't know how much work you put into it. But least personally I have learned of it only on this site, but not that great enough of a chunk of RPers visit defias.rp also I don't really know how many people were on the invite list, but it's sometimes a bit unreliable for people to spread the message further then their own guild or even that. Try and perhaps least find some people who can at least mention it in LFRP once in a while before, even before the event today. Every bit helps in spreading the word. One can also spread it ICly maybe on days or places a lot of people happen to gather. Now I didn't really pay attention to the SW council, so i'm not too sure if it was mentioned there or not.
That's about it though from my side. Don't let this wall of text let you down, since i'm sure most enjoyed what we've seen so far.

Re: [A-H] The Argent Tournament
I got out from the jousting undefeated!
- Spoiler:
- Although I did only win one and get a draw in the second joust before withdrawing for the night. But hey, it counts in my book.
