How did you like them riots?

I got to say, those <Angry Peasants> really pulled it off last night. I was really impressed by the number of people the guild came with. Even after the real "Event" a lot of peasants were still roaming the streets of Stormwind. It looked like total chaos! How did your character survive the event and what's your opinion on all of this?

I had great fun watching it all with my alt! It really brought some spice to the meeting and made the city very alive.
True some people in the crowd didn't really have very IC names, and those felhunters made me facepalm, but in general I think it was brilliant!

Good riots, but the copy-paste yelling spam was a bit much and we couldnt have a normal meeting because of it. If the idea was to ruin the meeting - it nearly succeded, though we took the leader inside and listened to all his concerns and hopefully most of them will be sorted

Well, isn't that rather the point of a riot? To disrupt authority and force them to do what the rioters want. Sounds like they did a bloody good job!

Heh, that was nice. Combined with the horde attacks, total chaos.

All in all it was fun to be honest, until I went to see the leader who brought the mob with Gogol to find him speaking to a member of the CF who was RPing at that moment Varian Wrynn. That was a 'lolwut' moment.

Yeh` me and Gogol went to see where the leader was, and he was infront of the King speaking with a player who was playing the King.

Actually, the most funny part was the fact that after they were done with their discussion the player went to join the mob. Found it a bit silly, but hey the King must be around his subjects!

I infiltrated the protest with some gang mates, started throwing rocks and tried to convince people to riot, in order to sack the city, but unfortunatly their leaders soothed them

I move house for one night and the city turns to chaos *chuckles*

anyway, I'd be glad for more. Really brings some fresh wind to good old SW actually making it not that good and safe with all the paladins around.

Some of it was really good. Some of it was less so.

I was in the council chamber for most of it so I didn't get to see the fighting, but I think the amount of things yelled in /y could have been lessened a leetle and it still would have had a realistic feeling of rioting and disruption, just for the sake of people's eyes keeping up with their chat on screen.

It also would have been cooler if the demands and reasons for rioting had been more specific and sensible rather than outrageous and random. But hey, can't have it all perfect.

I never saw a group of riots and outrageous guys with a specific and sensible, well, atleast not with a sensible, demands. But thats just me Sounds interesting, couldn't be there though

Uh, yeah, I wasn't very clear. I didn't mean that they should've rioted in a sensible way XD I meant more that as a group of RPers, it would've been nice if they'd had some sort of particular aim in beginning the riot.

I can see the fun in having a riot go through the city. However, it'd be a lot better if the leaders had complains and demands based on solid arguments, and not just "Ban the taxes!!!". The poor guy was speechless when he was asked what the guards and the army troops should be paid with if that happens

Apart from that, I can also see why many see the council meetings as the perfect opportunity for things like this to happen, but then they should be aware that things will be stalled and postponed even longer, since we don't get to finish the meetings within a reasonable time frame.

Safe? With Paladins. The Paladins make Stormwind the most dangerous place to be! With the constant chest beating and anti-heroes.. /rant.

I was there just in the end, but ya, should be started with some aim. But anyway was any riot in RL actually not ended with chaos? This was just the beginning...
