[H] Red Reach Raiders [RP-PvP]
Fire and smoke surrounded the small village, licking the structures and painting the sky with a crimson gleam. The humans who had once settled the town now watched from the hills their years of toil and labor being reduced to cinders. Their brothers and sisters, those brave enough to stand against the raiders had fallen to the blade, laying now dead on the streets of their hamlet. Vague shapes could be seen moving about the burning village, vaguely resembling humanoids. Horned bulls on two legs, muscular green monstrosities, tusked blue-skinned savages, little green devils, walking corpses and fel-tainted elves. The peasants could only watch helplessly as these 'demon-spawn' carried away their livestock and valuables away into the shore, into the thrice-accursed vessel known as "Red Reach".
Red Reach Raiders is a RP-PvP Guild, a Roleplaying guild who participates in PvP activities, themed by their story and concept as a Horde warband sailing the seas and striking vulnerable targets with the intent of Loot and Pillage. Established 17.01.2016, the Raiders have had their hands in -every- Roleplaying-WorldPvP Conflict that has been held since it was founded, including organizing and initiating a fair share of those. The guild still strives towards to becoming the best RP-PvP guild on the server and a great roleplaying environment for those seeking the lifestyle of a seafaring raider.
Brief History
The Raiders were founded by Captain Nakris Bloodmist (Sin'voth), a redeemed pirate who pledged to the Horde cause (threaten to swear loyalty by blade on their throat).
Unconvinced that there will ever be peace between the factions, and preferring a world ruled over by the Horde, the Raiders take whichever opportunity to raid the Alliance, divide their attention and chip away their defenses.
The atmosphere in the warband is generally laid-back, but sometimes brutal and bloody, as fit to the theme of a ship-full of raiders and other misfits. "Military Discipline" is an alien world among these individuals, but they will get the job done.
Roleplaying in the guild consists of ship-RP, planning our targets, executing our raids, counting our loot and occasionally going out to sell our loot to other roleplayer characters. Players are able to progress their characters both alongside the guilds storylines, as well as weave their own and include the entire guild to them should they wish.
The guild does run a Rated Battlegrounds once per week together with several other RP-PvP guilds. While this group is relatively casual, primarily just to get 3-wins and have a good time, there is in plans to start running a second, a more seriously oriented RBG team in the near future.

Schedule:
Generally, our week goes something like this.
Monday - RP-PvP with the Alliance. It's just the day that works for them the best, so usually some warfare going on that day!
Tuesday - Usually nothing, sometimes RP Events.
Wednesday - A Weekly gathering among the Crew, to exchange news, recruit others to plots and generally to have a drink with the rest of the raiders.
Thursday - Rated Battlegrounds
Friday, Saturday & Sunday - Usually nothing, sometimes RP Events.
Mind, this is just a rough estimate. RBG, Crew Meet and RP-PvP are regular things. RP Events and Plotlines are something that we sometimes have, sometimes doesn't. It changes by the moments and weeks.

Re: [H] Red Reach Raiders [RP-PvP]
Red Reach Raiders will be plotting their first Raid tonight, this Wednesday starting at 20.00 servertime in Wyvern's Tail Tavern, Valley of Honor, Orgrimmar.
This event is open to be attended by any Horde roleplayer who wishes to. It is entirely open to be joined, as will the raids targeting Alliance lands that we are planning (some DMed Raids, some RP-WPvP Raids, depending on interest and locations).

1st of February, Lor'danel, Darkshore
A strange mist rose on the northern coast of Darkshore come evening. When the clock was about to hit ten, the warcry "For the Horde!" could be heard as a mixed Warband of Horde races fought their way through the defenders, cutting down least one small ancient and whatever guards stood in their way. The Theatre of Blood, who happen to be present in the area at the moment of the attack fought valiantly, but were eventually pushed back by the Horde forces. Looting what they could, the Warband then made their retreat the way they came, boarding what appear a transport ship with a red flag with a black cross in it flags, reported back by a scouting druid.

Re: [H] Red Reach Raiders [RP-PvP]
Mallucis wrote:A letter, sealed with the emblem of the Ninth Company of Stormwind is delivered directly to Stormwind Minister of Defence. It looks like it was written very fast, the writing is hardly legible, like it was written by someone who yet learns how to do it. The very form would suggest, that it was prepared for someone else first and simply rewritten. The letter reads:Reference number: 0002
Officer: Viridi Moore, Lieutenant
Date: 2nd of February 33 L.C.
Main report: During a training in Westbrook we were approached by a woman, who, after a long run, came to alarm about the Horde incrusion in Westfall. As men were quite prepared it didn't take long to depart. The Ninth scouted the Jansen Stead, which was untouched, then Furlbrow's Pumpkin Farm finding a large group of civilians who fled from Moonbrook and Southern area. Just next to the farm the Ninth encountered the Horde invaders, or actually riders, the same, that had attacked Lor'danel in Darkshore the previous day (they sail fast). Civilians at Furlbrow's Pumpkin Farm told of an unnatural mist rising from the sea, soon followed by a Horde warband riding mounts and carrying torches. Defenders of the town were gutted down. A part of the Horde split off, riding towards Duskwood. The Horde attacked only those who stood and fight. Civilians, non-combatants and those fleeing were not chased or attacked.
The Ninth rode to Sentinel Hill through Saldean's Farm, which was left untouched (the Horde simply rode past and set the haystacks south of it on fire). On the way there the column was attacked but raiders were outnumbered.
After securing Sentinel Hill, where the Lumber Mill has been set on fire and any defenders who stood were gutted down (the tower on the hill have not even been attacked) the Ninth went to Mortwake's Tower and found it left untouched (the Horde have not even gone near it).
Afterwards the force split in two groups, Sergeant Major Reyxor headed back to Sentinel Hill, and Sir Balckstone with a group scouted the Dagger Hills, finding there civilians who were telling the same tale as those to Furlbrow's Pumpkin Farm. The group used the chance to have a look on Moonbrook from above, however, the thick smoke from the burning haystacks limited the visibility. The group headed to rejoin with the rest.
At that time, Sergeant Misaki Nightraven arrived with support from Stormwind. At Sentinel Hill there was only the House of Yore, but later on we found out the Disciples and Stormwind Regiment also arrived. Captain Centax took his men and headed to Moonbrook, the Ninth stayed at Sentinel Hill. After couple of hours Sir Blackstone took few men and headed to Moonbrook too. When the group arrived there the fight was over and won. Captain Centax said all raiders were killed.
However, none of the officers present (including Minister Brookbarrow) was not interested at checking the corpses to look for any sign of the warband leaders. Sir Blackstone did it personally finding no evidence of any of the fallen raiders being an officer or leader. That moment he reminded himself about the mist, which was by then gone, and he rode to the shore. What he could yet see was a transport vessel with a flag presenting a black cross on a red background, an emblem similar to those that could be found by some of the corpses. The vessel, moving fast, set sailed North-West.
Additional notes: The red raiders were only stopped, and despite taking heavy losses has not lost any officer. Due to their knowledge of Alliance tactics and some good intelligence about the area (it was not easy to find them) and the direction in which they departed it's advised to notify our northern allies about the possibility of another attack from the see (next one could be Menethil Harbour, Wetlands, the closest shore on the way).
This letter tells all by itself: We had a great deal of fun!
The Horde indeed attacked from the sea, raising a mist to conceal the location of their ship. Following this, the Warband pushed inland, driving Civilians towards north while setting the numerous hay stacks of Westfall on fire. Here is a map, to better visualize what was set on fire and what was cloaked in mist.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The majority of the Warband had either remain by the ship or ventured into the Deadmines, so it fell to a small scouting party to delay the Alliance reaction and approach to Moonbrook as seen in this battle below.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
As suggested by the letter, the Horde did eventually retreat into Moonbrook, in where they were found by the Alliance.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
This however did not exactly "stop" the Horde. Retreating deep into the tunnels of Deadmines, several bloody and 'fiery' battles were fought in the light of torches, spells... and a few fire elementals that the Shamans of both sides called forth from the the elemental planes.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Disappearing into the tunnels and presumed dead, the Raiders made their way through the tunnels, exit on the other side, board their ship and set sail towards their next destination: Wetlands.
-----------
With Westfall, our plan was to raid a "Smuggler's Den", being located in the cavern where the Defias Juggernaut resides. However, that being an instanced area, we were having some 'troubles' in actually roleplaying it out. A lesson was learned from this Westfall Raid: It is a great deal more interesting to raid an actual settlement or location which have items, doodaad and other decorations that you can nab with you. Regardless, the loot catalogue of Westfall is following.
Catalogue of Loot from the Raid
-Hay
-Scarecrow, filled with hay
-Harvest Golem Parts
-Black Market Merchandise (mixed lot of statues, paintings, intoxicating herbs and other shady and hard-to-get stuff)
-Hay
-Hay
-Rubber duck (Claimed by Luciouz)
-A locket (claimed by Amarthron)
-Slightly burn hay
-Hay
-Slightly wet hay
-More Hay
-Hay in the hair
Yeah we're not coming back to Westfall for a while. To much Hay.

3rd of February, Greenwarden's Grove, Wetlands
The Warband was an expected one. Word had reached Wetlands of the Raiders pursuing the arcane scrolls dating before the Sundering that were being studied by a scholar in Greenwardens. The Alliance however underestimated just how fast the Raiders were able to travel. Striking from the North, the first red wave clashed with an equal number of Alliance defenders composed of Dwarves, the Clans of Khaz Modan and brave soldiers of The Ninth Company. However, with the defenders being kept busy, another group of the Horde sneaked on the outskirts of the battle, searching the buildings in pursuit of the scrolls and other valuables. The Horde attempted to set several buildings on fire, but the arrival of the Theatre of Blood to Greenwarden's Grove put a halt to that. The Alliance and Horde forces, now equal in numbers clashed several times in the Grove before the Horde begun to retreat northwards, following the hills and moving towards the western coast. The Alliance gave chase and several battles endued. By the road leading through the swamps, the Horde managed to turn the tide of the battle temporarily, buying themselves further time to retreat. The last battles between the factions were fought close to the shoreline, the ship of the raiders looming in the background. Fortunately to the Alliance, the ship lacked cannons but the Raiders themselves put on a tenacious fight, buying themselves enough time to retreat out into the sea. Returning to Greenwarden's Grove, the Alliance found a certain set of scrolls missing: The Raiders had accomplish their objective. Meanwhile, the Raiders tended to their wounded and celebrated their victory as the ship set sail towards Silvermoon City.
Catalogue of Loot from the Raid
-A book about the flowers and fauna of Wetlands
-A bowl of fruits (eaten before arrival to Silvermoon)
-Provisions (probably some bread wrapped in leaves. Elven food)
-A skin of (presumed) Alliance wine (taken by Lianira, for research, might be poisoned)
-Few pieces of expensive looking jewelry
-A few parchments regarding research and cataloguing of the flora and fauna in the area
-Weapons: Swords and Polearms, poorly enchanted
-Small weaponry: Shortswords, curved
-A dagger
-Arcane Scroll dating to pre-sundering (part 2/2) (Given to Nabahtra, for studying, for benefit of the Horde)
-------
Thanks for both all of the Horde and Alliance who did show up, especially to The Ninth Company and The Theatre of Blood who came to the aid of the Dwarves at their hour of need.
A lesson learned from earlier days, we on the Horde had a very good idea on how to split our groups now, so while we did start the evening with about 12x Horde 6x Alliance, the battles itself were always fought with equal numbers. While one half of the Horde were fighting, another half focused on Roleplaying and "looting" while the group fighting kept the defenders busy. This kind of split did work out extremely well and there was no "waiting downtime" on the Horde despite having to split the groups. Once The Theatre of Blood did show up at 22.00, we had several great 10v10 battles, most of them being won by the Alliance. It was tough being the only Horde healer up until Luciouz showed up to the last several battles.
The style on how the group was split and the Roleplaying aspect of the events got us many thanks on the Horde side. People had a blast and I believe the Alliance had a good deal of fun aswell. While we are forced to keep a short break from the raiding due to my work schedule, we are very much intent on to keep raiding. See you on your home turf, Alliance!

18th of February, Tol Barad Peninsula
Under a shroud of mist, the Raiders and others members of the Horde - mostly allies from the Undercity set land upon what they believe to be Gilneas: The destination of their Raid. After scouting around some time, it became clear to the Raiders that this place they had set land was not Gilneas. Under their shrouding mist spell, they had landed upon the wrong shore, the shore of Tol Barad Peninsula. Not let this mishap to darken their mood, the Raiders decided to raid Tol Barad and it peninsula instead and set on to plan their actual raid for the coming day.
---
19th of February, Tol Barad & Tol Barad Peninsula
The Raiders gathered by the shore, along with their allies, waiting for the time to begin their assault. The ship needed to be ready to move to dock to Rustberg Village once the Raiders set in motion. It would be their drop-off location of loot.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Once everything was ready, the Raiders set in motion. In order to delay the Alliance response, they struct upon the Alliance camp on Tol Barad, forcing it few Baradin Warden defenders to either escape through the portal or rush into the water - lest they be killed. The Horde then pushed up towards the bridge leading to Tol Barad, only to find the Wardens having shut the gate from the other side. The Raiders returned to the Alliance camp, again driving it few defenders off, yet this time taking a cart filled with barrels of gunpowder with them. Dragging the heavy cart up the hill was no easy feat, but fortunately they had a Tauren whose Kodo proved to be of invaluable aid in this.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Blowing up the gates, the Raiders split into two: One ground would run in and contest the prison-isle whilst another prevented Alliance reinforcements from passing over the bridge. While a couple Alliance heroes managed to pass through, the Horde was still victorious to take control of the prison isle of Tol Barad. The Raiders proceed into scouring through the D-Block, yet found little more than imprisoned demons within. This is where Alliance reinforcements from Stormwind made contact with the Raiders the first time. Their demands for the Horde to surrender were met with violence as the Horde pushed through their ranks, towards Slagworks. Within the walls of this fortress, the Raiders clashed again with the Alliance forces.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
At this point, the Raiders split into two again. One would keep the Alliance forces busy while another smaller group escorted a cart pulled by an undead steed around the battle. The cart was filled to the brim with Copper and Steel bars. Exiting through the side gate, the cart and it escort immediately stumbled upon a couple of Alliance who were intending to flank the Horde within the walls of the fort. The escort kept these busy for long enough for the cart to wheel past them. Rumbling down the roads all the way to Rustberg Village docks, the cart was left there to be unloaded to the ship that had make use of the village's docks to dock itself for easy loading of loot.

(Imagine at the [Skull] a Forsaken-design boat, okay?)
Meanwhile, the other group of the Raiders and the Alliance clashed multiple times. The Raiders eventually did regroup and push on towards Forgotten Hill: In search of an artefact or anything that might be the cause to the restless dead in the area. However, due to the Alliance interference (and an alarming lack of explosives), the Raiders were unable to break into the tomb.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The Raiders then continue North, buying some time for themselves by the use of their death knights to freeze a path over the water to Wellson Shipyard. Setting their defence upon the entrance, the Raiders fended off the attacking Alliance easily. The Raiders then proceed into their looting whilst the Alliance forces regrouped and received additional reinforcements.

The Horde's departure from Wellson Shipyard did not go as well at it defence. This time, it was the Alliance who was prepared. The Horde was split into smaller groups as they made their escape towards Farson Hold, a relatively abandoned fortress nearby. They were chased by the Alliance.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The Alliance caught up with some of the Raiders during their chase, gutting some of them down in the field in front of Farson Hold.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The Horde then barricaded themselves into the fort, but this did not slow down the Alliance for long, breaking through their lines into their menders.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The Raiders retreated to Rustberg village and fought several times with the Alliance, surrounded by the buildings of the town. Towards the end of the battle, several most polite lines were exchanged between the Alliance and Horde leaders.
[Nakris] (Blood Elf Female, Pirate) yells: "While it's been fun playing, afraid we'll have to leave. See you again inside your burning cities, Alliance!"
[Zelium] (Worgen Male, Military Officer) yells: "We'll hunt you down and your head will be mounted on my wall!"
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The final battle was fought upon the docks of Rustberg Village, as the Horde took their retreat towards their ship awaiting by the end of the docks.

The Alliance gave chase, fought, yet were eventually forced to withdraw when the cannons of the ship started to barrage upon their forces. The Alliance leader was not overjoyed by this.
[Zelium] (Worgen Male, Military Officer) yells: "I'll make sure I see you at the bottom of the sea!"
His threat were met by the Elf with a laughter and a cannonball aimed to his exact location. He survived, darting inside a building in order to avoid the blast, muttering afterwards about his hate for Elves. The ship of the Raiders then depart and set sail towards Orgrimmar.

The Alliance caught up with some of the Raiders during their chase, gutting some of them down in the field in front of Farson Hold.

The Horde then barricaded themselves into the fort, but this did not slow down the Alliance for long, breaking through their lines into their menders.

- During the Horde retreat from the Hold, one brave cat of the Horde got captured and treated in most inhumane ways by the Alliance.

Private Cat was then saved, thanks to a summoning spell performed by a Professor of the College of Revenants.

Re: [H] Red Reach Raiders [RP-PvP]
Hello Zukin.
Our Raiding has been on a pause mostly due to me being busy at work and not having the time to organize the events. While it's nowhere to calming down, I have a different workshift that should allow me to be more of an active presence now.
I am starting to plan our next one today, so I'd say that our next Raid is in about a week, perhaps less.
You can get in touch with us tonight, and probably most evenings to come.

10th of March, Loch Modan
The raiders set upon the Loch at the time of sunset. While doing their best to cloak their approach, Alliance defenders had heard rumours of an encroaching Horde force and were standing ready at Thelsemar, the target that the Raiders would by coincidence assault first. Despite their ferocity, the Alliance had the defenders advantage and managed to fend off the Raiders several times, resulting the Raiders to change tactics.
Advancing past Thelsamar to the North, the Raiders holed up to Algaz Station close to the entrance of Wetlands. Alliance soon followed and pushed in to the outpost regardless of the Raiders defenders advantage. Yet, upon entering, the Alliance found that multiple barrels of explosives and bombs fuses had been lit and the Raiders systematically retreated from the windows of the outpost. The trap, while sprung, was not successful in wiping out the Alliance defenders who escaped just in time to avoid the blast.
Using the time given by their trap, the Raiders fell upon Thelsamar again with much greater success now that the defenders had been ruled elsewhere. With their trap not being successful, they did not have much time before the Alliance was upon them again. Deciding not to take a straight fight, the Raiders began their retreat towards East, away from Thelsamar. The Alliance gave chase but lost against the Raiders in open terrain.
While the Alliance was regrouping, the Raiders rode further east, their presence soon painting a pillar of rising smoke from Farstrider's Lodge. Made arrogant by their victory, they had not placed any lookouts and the Alliance simply walked in to the Lodge while the Horde were in the middle of looting. Several words were exchanged, demanding surrender. Said demand were met with a number of smoke bombs and a hasty retreat over the edge of the platform and employing Goblin Gliders to make distance.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The Alliance caught up with the Raiders on the southern border of Loch Modan, by the chasm that separated the Loch from Badlands. No words were changed. Only mean looks, taunts and the occasional arrow. The Raiders then deployed the same trick and Glider over the chasm to Blasted Lands.

Many thanks for Steyen of Wardens of Azeroth who organized this on the Alliance side, others of WoA who attended and The Ninth Company who gladly came to assist the Alliance side to even up the numbers. While we had only about 6 vs 6 fights and no greater numbers, us on the Horde for sure found it enjoyable - even if we lost majority of the fights. It was also a bit more RP heavy than some of the events, the Horde constantly relocating and fleeing from Alliance rather than fighting head-on (since we were fewer).
Badlands in turn on the 11th. Will the Alliance let the Raiders pillage their digs and other places of interest in the Badlands freely? We shall see!

11th of March, Badlands
Driven back to the Badlands from the Loch, the Raiders set upon the archaeological excavations of the Alliance. Not bothering to dig up things themselves, the Raiders assaulted upon the camps where all findings were kept before being shipped elsewhere. While free to pillage for a time, soon the Alliance got word and appeared en-force to defend their archaeologist findings. The Raiders were driven back after a series of tough fights.
As is their style, the Raiders then fled into the wilds to prepare for their next assault. Their next target turned out to be a fortress of the Dark Iron. Again, the Alliance got heed of their deed (probably due to the explosions and smoke rising) and head on there. Cornering the Horde into the fortress, the Alliance demanded for their surrender. While one of theirs got captured, the Horde were not to eager to meet to said demands, and hence the Alliance attacked. Yet, they were outmaneuvered in the labyrinthine hallways of the fortress, their menders slain and thus they fall: Allowing the Horde to make their escape.
Content on with their loot (and acknowledge the fact that they were outnumbered by the Alliance), the Raiders set to retreat from the zone. The Alliance however gave pursuit and force the Raiders to resort into retreating into a cavern leading to the labyrinthine complex of Uldaman in order to lose the Alliance from their trail.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The plan was successful, although they got lost in the cavernous depths themselves and took some time to get out of there.

Many thanks for the Wardens of Azeroth and The Ninth Company of the Alliance who did show up for the battle. We had a good time, even if we lost majority of the fights. I am still amazed of the outcome of the battle inside Angor Fortress. Guess running around, forcing the DPS to chase you while your own Rogues kill their Healers is a viable tactic after all.

The Red Reach Raiders were present in the Horde Gathering organized the 16th of March. Early plans were made to involve with some 'scholarly shenanigans'. The Raiders also made their offer for anyone to join into their Raids upon the Alliance lands, which perked the interest of the Venomspine Pariahs. Much co-operation to be had in the future!

Relocated the guild to Silvermoon for the time being until we 'reach' numbers high enough to go on long raiding trips all by ourselves (or grab some allies with us along the way).

1st of June, The Hinterlands
The Raiders and their allies of Venomspine Pariahs, The Tempest Covenant and House of Yore set forth from Reventusk Village. Their target: a Dwarven Outpost and a Ranger lodge of the high elves.
The Alliance scouts had given good intel to their forces, and a large band of Alliance was awaiting the attackers by the Outpost. While initially taken by the surprise, they quickly turned the tide in their favor with their knowledge of the outpost and it landscape. Whilst the Horde managed to break in to the outposts' bunker once, the Alliance was quick to drive them out, before the Horde could set off all the explosives inside the bunker to blow it support pillars up.
The Horde then continued further west, trekking through the forest until they arrive to the Lodge. Having lost their Alliance pursuers in the woods, their initial assault met little resistance and they were successful in sacking the Lodge. The Alliance defenders bravely charged in to the building, but were unable to rout the Horde out, so they backed off to wait for reinforcements from Aerie Peak.
The Horde, not wanting to be contained in the building by point that Gryphon Riders of Aerie Peak would arrive did a daring push through the Alliance lines. While the battle was long and even, the Horde eventually emerged victorious and disappeared into the woods.
The bunker was thus successfully defender, the Lodge looted, and most of the Horde got away - along with their loot.

Many thanks for our Alliance opponents, Theatre of Blood, Clans of Khaz Modan, The Ninth Company, Fenodyree in his wonderful persona and probably a few others whom names I simply can not recall. The Horde had a good time, in all of the..... 3x bunker battles and 2x lodge battles. There was a bit long pauses inbetween at parts, but it shouldn't hurt anyone, since there's plenty of things to RP on about.
The Horde won more or less all the fights in where they had their all healers at play, and the last one was a really close one, with equal number of healers and dps on both sides.
More of these coming in the future!
Also thanks for House of Yore (Horde), Venomspine Pariahs and The Tempest Covenant who stood at our side in this conflict.

Clashing in the Jungle, 4th of June
On the day, the Raiders planned on launching an attack upon Rebel Camp and drive the Alliance further away from the jungle. There was a change of plans when the Raiders made their way to check whether the civilians would have returned to Fort Livingston after the Raiders burned it to the ground a few days ago. On their way there, the Raiders and several of their allies and adventures from the jungles came upon a large force of the Alliance, wearing Black and White all of them, House of Yore.
Clashing upon this scouting force multiple times, the Horde proved first to be victorious, but were pushed back by the persistance of the House of Yore who pushed on the path leading out from the jungle. The Raiders were the ones most actively shouting insults at their opponent, while to their perspective it seemed that the blue, purple and pink-skins simply wanted to get away. The Raiders fought several lost skirmishes, until finally the tide turned upon the last few steps out of the jungle, with the assistance of a Horde Death Knight who had happen upon the scene. The Alliance shouted at this point insults to the Alliance, mostly for them to get out of their jungle, but the jungle is not theirs to claim. It belongs to the Horde now and the Raiders will fight for it if need be.
____
We were about 6 vs 6 most of the time. Alliance had a very good resto druid healer, hence they won the most. Barashade joined upon the front towards the end and brought us victory in the last few clashes.
Many thanks for House of Yore (Alliance) for those battles. Hopefully, next time both of us will have more numbers and more well-geared people.
Other Alliance guilds who reside to Stormwind-region. Give us a shout if you want a fight or two. We have all intention to remain least a week in Stranglethorn. Plenty of time to drive that 'thorn' upon your arse.
Defence of Tarren Mill, 19th of December
Raiders showed up for the defence of Tarren Mill, upon hearing of rumors of an Alliance force in the area. Venomspine Pariahs and a couple of mysterious elves were in the area aswell. the Horde forces decided to scout around, trying to find the Alliance before they launch their attack. The plan backfired, however, and the Alliance slipped onto the heart of Tarren Mill as the Horde were elsewhere.
The Alliance outnumbered the Horde forces, but the Horde put a great fight up regardless. Retreating continuously, they were able to chip away at the Alliance forces in pursuit, but not without their own losses as well.
In the end, Tarren Mill ended up badly damaged by the Alliance forces, with whatever easily breakable broken before retreating to the mountains. The Horde in turn retreated into the Ruins of Southshore before making their way back to their base.
